I have done that and have sent it in. I have also attempted to email them.

If you have sent in your required documents then that is a notice to go ahead and make your interview appointment. Again follow their directions to complete scheduling your interview.

Good stuff :) but I wonder why it says your interview date was provided by NVC, I thought we had to schedule our own interviews, unless I'm missing something.

This is why:

The K-1 process is quite strange. For a time, it is both a non immigrant and immigrant visa type. That is why the links send you the process for immigrant which would be the I-864 even though it truly is a non immigrant visa requiring I-134. As you go through the stages, within the NVC system you look up your file under immigrant. It stays that way until after approval and ready for issue. At that point, it changes over to non -immigrant. It truly is a non immigrant visa with immigrant intent.

Does the status change to "in transit" for everybody from the batch at the same time or it changes throughout the day as they send cases out? anxiety kicked in...

Through out the day.

Hi, I'm in the same position, I've booked the medical and have received my police certificate but.. the email from Knightsbridge says that you need to take a letter or email from the NVC, I haven't had either.. so, now I have to call them again and wait 10 hours (exaggeration) to find out what happens if I turn up for the medical without a letter or email from the NVC..

I have an idea. Did you look over in the sub-forum for your Embassy. I'd think that someone who has already completed this would have the answer and someone processing through Germany, Philippines, Guam or Lebanon would not have any idea what your talking about. My bets on the sub-forum. What say you?

Once you get your case number you are finished in this thread and should be in your sub-forum for your country asking the experts.

There are experts over in the sub -forum for your country located here http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/99-united-kingdom/ where others from your country are processing or they are there after they have finished with everything and can guide you on their experience. A TON of information and help there.

Ok I'm very confused,

Emassy recieved our petition Aug 9th.

Do we need to do anything? We haven't heard anything... My fiance has his medical scheduled but we don't really know else we need to do.

Will they contact us? Or are we supposed to contact them?

Thanks everyone!

If your case status says ready. You should be able to submit DS-160 and pay fee and then I think they will contact you for scheduling an interview. Our embassy is similar. At least that’s what I’m trying to figure out because our previous members didn’t leave us anything to work with. Our portal is outdated. Maybe after you figure it out, I recommend you to update your embassy portal so future applicants don’t get confused like we are😳

My status changed to in Transit today, looks like that theory about them sending applications in batches every other Tuesday is correct since I see others who updated the excel sheet today as well, hoping to set up the interview in the next 30 days! September POE is looking more possible than ever.

Unfortunately my portal is outdated as well and there is not enough information to go by, but I have a friend who also applied for a fiance visa, and she got approved 2 weeks ahead of me from USCIS so I am following her timeline now...I can't believe we are almost at the end

Well I sent the documents via email. But I got the standard email back.  But yes I will just wait for the mail to come in or at least some kind of correspondence from them.

I honestly jumped the gun. I worked a night shift and totally threw all knowledge I gained from VJ out the door! 🤭. I paid the visa fees, booked the medical on sept 26 and booked the interview on October 3.  So I’m thinking that gives us enough time to receive the packet 3 & 4.  Crossing fingers they don’t cancel my existing appt.

The earliest appt they had was sept 12 and every Wednesday after that. By the way this is for the Montreal Consulate.

I looked over the portal information and even though it's a year old, I really don't see much that would have changed. Payment process or Doctors would only be in my guesstimation that would change. So I'd follow it till you receive additional information from the Embassy.

Also review this information https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-am/iv

If you get a copy of the P3 from your Embassy could you scan a copy and email it to me here on VJ using PM. I use them to help others who will come behind you. I just don't have one for your Embassy so I hunted around so that you could have an idea what to expect. Thanks.

My friends fiance received the packet 3 through email, I will forward you a copy as soon as my fiance gets it. My fiance has already requested and got police certificates from Russia and Armenia, and I am completing the DS-160 with the attorney tomorrow, I-134 is also ready to go, we are waiting for the P3 at this point to schedule the medical and interview date. The only thing I am not sure about is if we use the 2nd link you attached to schedule interview or contact embassy directly...I guess we will find out in 2 weeks or so

Thank you ahead for sending the P3 when you receive it. Also, can you go into the portal here on VJ after your interview and update your findings so it's current for the next couples. Again, thanks and all the best to you guys.
