This might be a tough question to answer but what is the average people have waited to see “ready” on the CEAC website?

I haven’t heard anyone who’s case was “in transit” last Aug 7 be changed to “ready”.

How often do embassies change the status?

Congrats to everyone whose case has been received by NVC:) very exciting! Does everyone whose case was received sees in on CEAC? I'm Jul30 NOA2 and it's not finding my case yet. Does it mean it's not received yet?

I don't think you can check CEAC yet until you have your case# assigned by NVC. I'm not sure if you have your case# already.

Shocked!  NOA2 7/31. Called the NVC yesterday 8/14. Not received yet. Called again today... Received and got NVC case number on the same day!   Is this unusual?

Nope. Heard it before. But then again the first agent could have told you the "storyline" until you were told what really was the status of your case.

I have what is needed to process through the Embassy their in japan if you need a copy.

Roughly 20 days average from Uscis to NVC. And from what I’m hearing. NVC mails packages every 2 weeks to embassy. And the next shipments is next Tuesday. We will see in transit end of August. God willing

For us it was one day between received and number assigned.

As soon as the embassy in Tokyo receives your package from the NVC, set up your interview appointment right away after filing the DS-160.  We scheduled the first available for Oct 1 and when we scheduled that was more than 7 weeks away.  Medical is next week and we are checking everyday to see if an appointment opens up sooner.

Hi  @Bunyaka and @JM&PP , it looks like the three of us are still waiting on "In Transit" for the Bangkok Embassy.   Here is hoping we all move forward soon.   🤞

Unfortunately, yes! I thought the status would change a few days ago. 😅

Some cases have turned to ready in a few days because NVC send the case through online system. It depends on the embassy so I can’t really tell how often. :)

Well, at least the three of us are waiting together.   @JM&PP  @Bunyaka @JoelThai  We will keep each other company while we wait.  😃   Hopefully soon.   I know they are doing interviews in Bangkok today, so maybe after they finish with those they will have time for us.
