Awesome!!! I will say that their is currently a 4 week delay with Knightsbridge at the moment so I’d definately get on it! Also, there is a cancellation waiting list. I didn’t find it useful as I never got one lmao. Medical next Saturday! Finally after waiting one month.

I’ve been desperate to hear... How did your medical go? What was the process like?

Congratulations!

I finally got my case from nvc.  When I put in the case number into the website to check on the case status, it does not give me a status.  It just

pops up with a message to follow the instructions and force me to close the window.  Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!

Thank you so much, everyone!

Are you selecting Visa Type "Immigrant Visa (IV)".   If not, try that.

Thanks for the quick reply!  Yes, I selected that.  It said the 6 steps that I must follow. What are the 6 steps?

I am panicking  over here.

Thank you so much, everyone!

Hi  @Bunyaka and @JM&PP , it looks like the three of us are still waiting on "In Transit" for the Bangkok Embassy.   Here is hoping we all move forward soon.   🤞

Yes, looks like we are still waiting.  Looking at recent timelines of when BKK embassy received seems to be about a week.  Hope we all get ready this week, good luck.

Congrats to you and I'm sure you are going from AP to Issued really soon, just hold  on to your chair!

Question to you with your messy situation you had. I don't want what happen to you happen to me. so for K1 Visas, we should fill out DS-160?????? my fiance has applied for visitor visa in the past(5 years ago) and even went to an interview and they told him they cant give it to him. They didnt really deny him, they just told him he needs more proof he is returning to his country, he just never continued with the process.  I'm pretty sure my fiance has filled out this form or something similar before.  Do I need to watch out for anything, because I will be the one filling it out for him. I want to avoid getting in the same situation as you. Please and thank you in advance!

Yes he needs to fill out the ds160. My problem wasnt the ds160, it was at the interview planning website https://ais.usvisa-info.com

I'm sure it was a weird glitch as I've never heard it happen to anyone before

Shocked!  NOA2 7/31. Called the NVC yesterday 8/14. Not received yet. Called again today... Received and got NVC case number on the same day!   Is this unusual?

Not typical, but not unheard of as well.   You will likely go to "In Transit" on Tuesday (8/21).

Notice date 23 jul 2018

letter 27 de Jim 2018

Yes! NVC already gave me case number !!!

ok questions.... on Friday we called and said no case number yes.; and that the children have case number each?the lady  say yes each gonna is gonna have a case number .

today call and they gave me the case number and they said it is a single number for my fiancée and the children that in this tape of visa  is a single number. someone know  something more about this ?!

I already have my case number what can start doing?!

thanks!!

You will receive a case number for Mom and a case number for any children Mom will be 01 and the children 02, 03 and so forth. This is normal. Sometimes the children are approved before mom is. Just have patience once the water gets by the dam then it sorts itself out and back to a smooth flowing river.

I usually have a Packet 3 letter from your Embassy but I do not. But what I can do is list the basic items needed for the interview. When you get the P3 letter from your Embassy, could you scan a copy and attach it to a PM here on VJ. Thanks.

Most of this has to be duplicated for the K2('s).

Completed Form DS-160, Online Nonimmigrant Visa Application. You (and any eligible children applying for K-2 visas) must: (1) complete Form DS-160 and (2) print the DS-160 confirmation page to bring to your interview.

  • A passport valid for travel to the United States and with a validity date at least six months beyond your intended period of stay in the U.S. (unless country-specific agreements provide exemptions).
  • Divorce or death certificate(s) of any previous spouse(s) for both you and the U.S. citizen sponsor
  • Police certificates from your present country of residence and all countries where you have lived for six months or more since age 16 (Police certificates are also required for accompanying children age 16 or older)
  • Medical examination (vaccinations are optional, see below)
  • Evidence of financial support (Form I-134, Affidavit of Support, may be requested)
  • Two (2) 2x2 photographs. See the required photo format explained in Photograph Requirements
  • Evidence of relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e)
  • Payment of fees, as explained below

Note: The consular officer may ask for additional information, such as photographs and other proof that the relationship with your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) is genuine. Documents in foreign languages, other than the language of the country in which the application takes place, should be translated. Applicants should take to the visa interview clear, legible photocopies of civil documents and translations, such as birth and divorce certificates. Original documents and translations will be returned.

These are only the basic items. Please check with your Embassy Instructions for further requirements. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/list-of-posts-k1-k3-visas.html

There was some information from the VJ Portal for your Embassy but it is a little old but I think most of it is still fresh so you can use it. The page is found here http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Bolivia&cty=La

Good luck.
