Hello everyone!

We received our NOA2 on July 28th and found out that NVC received our case on August 10th. We just found out about I last night when we called! E were so excited to hear that it was received!:D

I think I heard somewhere, in this feed, that batches of applications are sent out every two weeks on a Tuesday? would that be this Tuesday or the next? Maybe ours could be one of them?! :)

My question is can we safely schedule my fiancés medical now that we have the case number? I have heard that some have at this point. Also is it alright to set up his interview once the case says its in transit? He will be going to London for his interview. Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

I called today and received my Case ID number and Invoice ID number. How do I know what day they actually received it?

Update:

After waiting for "something" finally on August 3, 2018 the Embassy at Santo Domingo notified us by email that we that we could start filing DS-160 and scheduling  VAC  and Consulate Appointments.  As stated before in these forums the Santo Doming Embassy does not mail packet #3.  However we expected some kind of notification by "snail" mail but got the email instead.  Still in doubt that the package was received electronically since NVC sent it on July 24 and the info was updated on July 25 with status Ready.  Now the CEAC shows that the case was updated on August 6.

Since both medical exam providers  Consultorios de Visa and Servicios Médicos Consulares list the appointment sheet (Hoja de Cita)   as a prerequisite you must schedule your appointments on the ustraveldocs.com/do website.  In order to do that you need the DS-160 confirmation number.

As stated in these forums be very VERY careful on creating your ustraveldocs (aka https://cgifederal.secure.force.com/applicanthome)  profile.  I won't spout the whole rant about the website.  Be mindful of two caveats: 1) Type the email exactly as it is.  One small typo will cause you not to receive anything since the profile will be created without the system validating the email first.  2)Never create more that one profile just to check out website user interaction.  I did both mistakes and had to call ustraveldocs and request that all 3 profiles (the first I created, the one with the typo in the email and the one with the correct email) be merged since I used the same beneficiary's data.  The system checks that and won't let you pay and schedule your appointments.  VAC appointment is on the last week of August and Embassy in mid September.  After we are done I will be updating our timeline.

Once we passed that hurdle we managed to fill and file DS-160 print in PDF the confirmation page.  We also printed in PDF the DS-160 already filled and filed.  By this week we hope to complete the medical and all requested documents. Know I will fill form I-134 as part of my files and wait patiently to meet again with my love 😍

Hope this updates helps anyone.

I went to Servicios Medicos Consulares

I took my passport, NVC Letter (the email you get when your case changes from "Ay NVC" to "In Transit") and the appointment confirmation page. They took it the same order, no question asked. So make sure to bring that one too.

They said something about waiting for them to "call and confirm with the Embassy". I waited (and other people too) for about 25-30min to call me and begin with the exam.

When I called they gave me my case number then said, “starting from the 10th of August it can take up to 4 weeks for your case to be sent out to the embassy.” I just assumed that’s when it was received since it was a couple days after the first time I called and a few days before I called this time.😊

ahhh i forgot to ask that, I called last Friday and they said they didn't have it, yesterday I didn't call, but now that I called today they said they received it. So I assume they received it yesterday or today.

There is nothing that requires you know the "received date" unless you want it for curiosity purposes.

I am going to share with you all the information I have. Sorry but I am not sure it is in any order but it is what has been submitted by others recently and the P3 information is from what the Embassy sends out. So here we go.

https://uk.usembassy.gov/visas/tourism-visitor/required-documents/

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=United Kingdom&cty=London

First of all, if you haven’t already done so, make sure you complete your DS-160 and request your police certificate.  Now that you have your case number, you can call Knightsbridge to schedule your medical exam.  You’ll need to give them your case number when you schedule your appointment.  Once you have your exam scheduled, DS-160 completed and have everything else that you need for your interview, complete the Notification of Applicant Readiness Form and when your NVC case status changes to “In-transit” you can go to https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv to create an account and schedule an interview.  Make sure that you allow at least 5 working days between the date of your medical exam and the date of your interview or risk the results from the exam not arriving in time.  For your interview go here https://ais.usvisa-info.com/en-gb/iv/  or call here 442074867822

U.S. Embassy London is pleased to inform you that we have received an approved petition in support of your

fiancée) or K3/4 visa application. Please refer to our website at https://uk.usembassv.gov/visas/fiancee-2/applying-for-the-visa/ for detailed instructions on preparing for your visa interview and scheduling the appointment.

In accordance with 9 FAM 41.81 PN3.2, please find:

•        One copy of the petitioner's approved Form I- 129F, together with any criminal background information (including information on protection orders) that USCIS has gathered on the petitioner and any information that USC1S has provided regarding prior Form 1-129F filings by the petitioner.

•        One copy of USCIS's pamphlet, "Information on the Legal Rights Available to Immigrant Victims of Domestic Violence in the United States and Facts about Immigrating on a Marriage-Based Visa.

Issuance of a K visa is not guaranteed. A Consular Officer will evaluate your case and make a final determination

You are advised not to make any travel plans until you receive your visa.

Should you need to communicate with the Embassy regarding your case, please provide your case number exactly as

it is listed below.

Good Morning! Hope to not ruin your day but just wanted to vent. 22nd day from NOA2 and NVC still hasn't received the case from USCIS while others who has same NOA2 July 23, and even after, already got their MCN. Talked to a supervisor Belle, after a Sasha who was really nice to me but I got impatient with this whole thing so I asked kindly for a supervisor. Belle said she cannot talked about others who I mentioned that has the same approval notice as me (even after). I wanted to tell her, of course you can't or else your 'six weeks' script will be inconsistent, won't it? (I didn't, just wanted to)... Then she said as long as it's not our website (NVC) that shows it or you don't have any other case number I can check, I can only comment on yours (which I completely understand).

Good Luck to everyone and help me dig more patience ! :)

This process can be daunting and frustrating. Do you have all the information as to what you will need for your interview at USEM? Do you know about CFO, NBI, CENOMAR, Medical, DS-160, how to schedule the interview, do you know how to pay the interview fee and Police Clearance if you lived overseas?

The majority of all those items can be completed now or soon after receiving your case number. You could finish this process within 25 days of getting the case number and you won't feel left behind cause you will pass up the others who you noted in your post.
