I have a couple questions for the affidavit of support my fiance has a daughter who is in the sole custody of her mother so she wont be moving out here with him. Do I list her name and birthday on it anyway? also on the DS 160 it asks when he plans to arrive and leave the US what do we put down for that?

How are you all finding out the NVC status? Alex876, we are one week behind you in NOA2 date, also in Jamaica.

Hey there fellow yardie! You can track your NVC status here: https://ceac.state.gov/ceacstattracker/status.aspx

You'll need to have your NVC assigned case number to use the tracking tool though. If you haven't already done so, call the NVC and ask for your case number. Since your NOA2 is a week after mine there's a good chance that the case has already gotten to the NVC and has been assigned a case number. To get your case number when you call you'll need to have on hand your WAC number as well as the names and birthdates of both petitioner and beneficiary.

Also a bit tricky is the date format for the search range is DD MM YYYY.   It took me a few trys to get it correct.

I used :

Shippers Reference -   EXP 07 AUG 2018A

Date Range for Shipment - From 07 08 2017

Date Range for Shipment - To.     08 08 2017

It also looks like the DHL info is still being updated, so if it is not working for you today, try again tomorrow.

Hey Joel, based on the info I think BKK embassy has received our cases.  It was delivered on Sat Aug 11.  Case is still in transit though on CEAC website.

I can't ascertain whether you want to track the physical file with the transit company or you want to check the status of the case. So here is both ways.

Here you are https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov

and

Go to www.dhl.com click Express then Tracking, then Track by Shipper's Reference, and on this page you add your search information. You change the day and month to what you think your package might have left NVC or call NVC to get the date your package had left NVC in route to Manila then go to the DHL website and enter the following information:

EXAMPLE:

* Shipper´s Reference : EXP 24 MAR 2011A

* Date range for shipment - From: 23 - 03 - 2011

* Date range for shipment - To: 26 - 03 - 2011

Account Number - Leave this blank

Shipment Destination: Manila / Works for any Country

Today is a holiday in Thailand so I think we will possibly see the status change to READY tomorrow! :)

I have a couple questions for the affidavit of support (are you referring to I-134?) my fiance has a daughter who is in the sole custody of her mother so she wont be moving out here (where is "out here") with him. Do I list her name and birthday on it ("on it" which form is it) anyway? also on the DS 160 it asks when he plans to arrive and leave the US what do we put down for that? (What question is that your answering from the DS-160?)

With a little more information I can answer your questions.

Also, many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Hey everybody, a small question on how to proceed:

So the status on our petition is "Ready" at the HCM consulate, and we've filled out the DS-160, sent the Packet 3 stuff to the consulate, and gotten as far as paying the Visa fee at the post office. My question is this: we still haven't actually received the instruction packet from the HCM consulate, and the K-visa instructions on the website say not to schedule the interview before getting it, and sending Packet 3. Is it alright to schedule the interview now (it wouldn't be for a few weeks as we still need some time to get all the documentation together), or is it best to just wait? I've messaged the consulate requesting the instruction packet, and they responded with:

Quote

Unfortunately, due to the fact that the case records have not yet been fully transferred to our office, we are unable to take any action on the case at this time.  Please resubmit your request on August 22, 2018 through our online inquiry system for further instructions.

which seems a bit strange given that it's already listed as ready. Any advice would be appreciated.

We are interviewing at the HCM consulate on August 30th. We didn't wait to receive the letter. We waited a week after we sent in the DS160 and didn't have any issues. A few days after we scheduled the interview we received the P3 letter. Don't know what is best for you but just letting you know our experiences so far.

Hi Everyone, I really need help now. My fiance has lost her passport and she recently got a new one with new passport number, but need to update her ustraveldocs profile.

https://cgifederal.secure.force.com

I was noticed that she couldn't update her passport number by updating her entered information which needs to request a "Provide Feedback"? And it takes already one day but no response. Then she realized that she had enter her name with one letter off.......... after she has sent out the request for her passport number change. She must be nervous and stressful of dealing with this stuff at the first time.

Would the system accept multiple feedback request and how long does it take to get one request done? Anyone had the similar experience before?

THANKS.

Has she lost her passport after the interview was scheduled? I have a new passport since i-129F was submitted, but I'm just waiting for my NVC case #. I'm beneficiary. Should I be trying to update my passport number or whatever I fill in DS160 will do?

Monday was a holiday in Thailand, the Queens Birthday.   Based on the timeline of another petitioner who is two weeks ahead of us, we should see "Ready" in the next day or two.

Good luck!
