We got our interview date appointment already, sadly it is not until September 25th.

I am glad things happened super fast after the in transit date.

Oh ours is September 21st! For the UK that is but still lol. It will come around real quick and be here before you know it. I look at it (in the since of the short wait now to interview) as being only a small fraction of the time we had to wait NOA2. Plus I want a cheap flight 😊

@Greenbaum will 3 years of W2’s suffice, bank statements, and employment letter with the I-134 or is a tax transcript necessary? Some members have included theirs but I want to know if this is necessary.

One year of tax return is required anything more is just "more do". I find it much easier to go to the IRS website and get a tax transcript which is normally only 2 pages long. If you use your 1040 then every page needs to be sent.

Additional required documentation:

Employment Letter

Bank Letter

2017 All W2's

2017 IRS Tax Script

2017 Pay Stubs (last 4 pay stubs)

Coming up on two weeks since my status changed to "Ready." I completed the DS-160 and sent my packet 3 email two days after it was "Ready," and received a response scolding me for sending it before they asked. The case was "last updated" on August 3rd, and still says "Ready." Should I just keep waiting for a message from the consulate? So frustrated because I want to book my medical and interview ASAP! Here in Canada it seems as though people often have to wait a month or more for their interview time, and I really want POE at the end of October...

Have you tried calling them? Call the embassy call center and ask.

Just relaying my timeline here.  NOA2 hard copy dated July 24 (website indicated 7/25).  NVC acknowledged over the phone it was received today (August 8).  Looking at other timelines here it seems a good number of folks get their case number the following day after NVC receipt.  Hoping for the same.

Quoting my post from yesterday.  I was right.  NVC case number assigned today.

Ok. It's time to rock and roll. You have everything that I gave you and so the record for completion from receiving the case number to walking out of the Embassy with an approval is 22 days. Think you can match or beat the record? :D

Don't be surprised if your Case Number is not available. Once NVC receives your case from USCIS it has been running about 10 business days till it's assigned. Just saying.

Haha I would love that but not sure we'll beat that.  Fiance has to get a new NBI and new passport to correct inaccuracy with her official birth certificate.  I think we need that passport for the medical appointment.

Passport is not needed for the medical. The passport is taken when you line up at the Embassy on the day of the interview.

SLEC wants the Interview letter from the National Visa Center (NVC) or Visa Interview Appointment Confirmation from the Embassy (just print off a screen shot of the confirmation page once your appointment has been secured) either or.
