@Greenbaum :help:You seem to be the "go-to" for P3 questions. I've looked through the portals, forums, etc. for the Nairobi consulate (Uganda doesn't process K-1's) and I can't find a consistent summary of what is required and included in P3. In fact, I've seen some contradicting info out there. And the official Kenya embassy website is useless until you have received communication from them. Have you by chance been provided with the P3 email/instructions for Nairobi that you can send along?

Thanks in advance! And thanks for all your other wisdom shared on here!!

Here is what I have.  If you find something different can you shoot me a copy so I can help the next person. Thanks.

Thanks, but only the links for the DS forms and I-forms work for me. The embassy website is also different now (https://ke.usembassy.gov/visas/immigrant-visas/), just FYI.  I've looked over the generic embassy info, travel.state.gov info, forums., etc Guess I'll just wait until I receive the official instructions from Kenya. I'll pass along the instructions that I receive though so that you have current info for the next person that may ask. Thanks again!

Yup. I see what you mean. Most of the links are dead now. I have made note of it and will not be offering that to anyone. Thanks.

Does anyone know what type of permission is required for my fiancé to leave Colombia with her son?  We received our NOA2 and he was included in the paperwork. He is a minor and his father has already agreed for him to leave. Just looking for some advice on the proper paperwork. Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

I don't have first hand knowledge but after doing a Google search there have been some topics that appear that will help you understand what you may need.  Also, the other thing I recommend is that you go where the experts are and that in the sub-forum for Columbia and ask the experts there. Much luck to you.  http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

@Deehotstepper I filled in US embassy Abuja as my embassy of interest. Everyone else talks about Lagos consulate. Does it mean Abuja doesn't process the K1 visa?😢

NOA2 is July 10th 😊. I think it wont be so bad. We can pretty much get almost everything done in abuja (medical, police clearance) and then just have the interview in lagos. Are u abuja based?

Our approval notice letter is dated 07/02, although the new site shows approval 07/03. Would it be ok to call some stage later next week for a case number? We are thinking of ringing next Friday to maybe try...

I’m just not sure what is an acceptable amount of time.

Thanks guys! ☺️

I answered P&L back on 7/7 which is about 6 tabs back. I posted the answer above to answer your question. What's nice about these threads is most of the questions are asked over and over and I know because I been answering them for 4 years. I store my answers in OneNote and cut and past when they are asked again. So, I recommend that you bookmark this thread and then remember where you were the last time you visited and begin reading till you are current then you won't miss anything.

10 to 14 business days from NOA2 begin calling. Any sooner and you will probably come up empty handed and wasted your time. Most are getting case numbers at that time frame.
