It’s very crazy! I’m sorry for this frustration. It seems sudden surprises always come up in this very long process and you can’t perdict them. I guess it’s why it’s encouraged over and over again not to plan.....but that’s hard to not do also. 😏 hopefully Monday you will find success and a way to fix this craziness. We are here hoping for you too!!

Thank you. It helps knowing were not alone in this.

Itll sort itself out sooner or later. Its just really frustrating. I've been proactive about everything in this process, had everything ready weeks before it was needed, jumped on every email and replied within seconds, and now this.

If nothing else I'll show up on the 14th for my interview and see if I can jar something loose. My fiance is convinced I'll be stuck until (right before) the 14th when the system will kick me out due to not paying the fee.

Do you have a copy of the interview scheduling receipt? And were you able to schedule your appointment without paying the fee? (I have a short memory so these questions may have been posted before).

Sigh… I get so tired of these lazy people asking things without taking the time to read first 🤣 just kidding love 😘

Yes, I was unable to schedule the interview friday the 27th on the website cause the website directed me straight to the scheduling agenda in stead of having me pay the fee. I did not know that never been on the site before. All I saw was me being unable to schedule anything. I messaged the consulate and asked them what I was doing wrong and they told me there was an appointment date available for the 14th. I send them a screenshot that I didnt have any dates available and they scheduled the appointment for me. After that I went back to the website trying to complete the steps and pay the fee but there was no option to pay the fee. I asked the consulate again but didnt receive an answer. On Tuesday I called the sites helpdesk and they told me I was logged in on the wrong part of the website (Immigrant in stead of non immigrant?) and they advised me to delete my account. We did that together and I tried to re register but the webiste doesnt accept my email, ds160 code and nvc number anymore saying they are already in use. I sent the website support an email asking to help me register again and they told me to register for an immigrant visa (wich is totally opposite of what they told me before, but alright) and I send them an email back saying I cant register irregardless of where I try to register. Havent heard from them since. Also mailed the consulate again asking for help but all I get from them is a request to follow the steps on the website...

And yes I have an email confirming my (old) scheduled interview.

Keep all your correspondence for your effort in trying to correct this error. Keep your appointment and bring the visa fee with you to the interview along with your "effort" correspondence's. In the mean time just keep trying to get someone's ear to get this fixed. Also, you may try scheduling a USCIS infopass. I'm not sure if you can have the infopass meeting outside the US but if not your fiancée in the US can schedule one. https://my.uscis.gov/appointment. That's my best recommendation. Have you tried asking your question is a different forum that's more general then here or in the UK sub forum? More eyes the better the information.

I've tried on the dutch K1 facebook page but no one has ever had to deal with this. Also it seems like they are getting a bit tired of me bitching cause people stopped answering me. I havent put it in any other forum yet.

Jon also advised me to post this in the Europe subforums so I might do that later.

I have no idea how infopasses work. I'll look into that. thank you!

Still trying to get my interview fixed. I'm getting really discouraged. We waited for so long to get the noa 2 only to get stuck at the consulate. I emailed the consulate and the websites helpdesk on Friday. The consulate knows how the process works and the help desk how to run the website but neither know what the other one does. I'm stuck.

Got an email back from the consulate saying 'ma'am please follow the steps on the website'. I cant even express how frustrated I got with that response. Do you really think i would be contacting you day in and day out for over a week now if it was as simple as that? Ffs people...

I'm sorry to hear this love. This is definitely very frustrating and you're right to be so upset. This process is absolutely unpredictable and we're experiencing it day by day. There's something that always comes up and changes all of our plans. I'm sure it'll solve itself really soon, and we're all rooting for you. Don't give up!!!! We're here for you!

Basically, you make an appointment through the link I gave you. Jon can attend (I'm assuming Jon is the USC) the meeting where he'll sit in front of a human and try and iron out the problem. Being in front of somebody usually gets you where you need to be. I had to attend 2 such meetings when we were dong our ROC and I was very satisfied to the attention my problem was given.

Thank you to everyone here who has contributed to this massive wealth of knowledge. I've yet to receive NOA2, but after reading through most of this topic I've got two pages of notes and a pretty clear picture of what to do over the next few months. Though I do wish there were more people on VJ who have gone through the Macedonian embassy. The page about the consulate here (http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Macedonia&cty=Skopje) has many holes. Specifically about packet 3&4, does anyone know what those include? Packet 3 seems to usually be a interview prep piece. I'd feel much better having a clearer picture and so would my fiancée.

I totally feel you! There's not many people on the Argentinian embassy, so I'm on the loop as well. As far as P3, it usually is just instructions for the interview/next steps but again, it depends on the country. Wish I could help, but I'm sure here there's someone who knows more about this that can explain it to you. Good luck dear!

Hi dear!! And thank you! I called Friday to see if our case was at NVC but not yet, so we're waiting still. Maybe this week 😊 How are you guys doing? I imagine you are at the medical stage now!

Yeah still waiting here. Medicals are very hard to get here in UK, takes about a month. Medical is on 18th. Have everything ready and waiting. Interview is 21st Sept so plenty time in between both. Looking forward to it’s all done 😍

Oh wow that's fantastic news!! In no time you'll be done ready to go! 21st September is not that bad considering you guys wanted to wait a little bit. Although a month now flies so fast considering how much we waited already!!!

I hope everything goes smoothly for you guys 😙
