I posted this a couple of days ago... I notice a pattern where K1 petitions appear to be batched and sent every two weeks.   I am expecting the next batch to go out on Tuesday, Aug 7th.

I was thinking the same thing. I was saying it to myself this morning that they seem to be coming in batches. I hope it continues.

Ok so from what I read I need my WAC# and both our birthdates to call NVC. Well when I called today for the first time, this lady took my WAC# and then asked me what the date on my NOA2 is. I told her and she automatically said ‘You have to wait 6 weeks blah blah’. I have a feeling she didn’t even look at my case. When they look up our case, our Noa2 date should show up on her screen, no?? It was a useless call. Just wanted to vent!🤨

If that happens again, ask for a tier 2 agent. And if that doesn't work then ask for a Supervisor. I think you will hear a different tune when you assert some authoritarian knowledge their way.

I'm currently on day 21 since NOA2 approval of July 13 and still waiting for NVC. Been calling them as well everyday. Still patiently waiting, tho starting to accept the idea that I might reach 6 weeks. Problem is still don't have the hard copy of our NOA2. Which is not strange for me since i didn't receive my NOA1 until 45 days. Had to wait for 30 days for that before i could ask for a copy and another 15 days till they could resend it. The only sign i have of now of the NOA2 approval is the new website status and calling USCIS to speak to a TIER 2, who did confirm that we were already approved but i have to wait for 30 days before i could request one to be resent. Same drill. I'm sure nothing came in the mail because i'm signed up for informed delivery and my mom and brother checks our mail everyday. Just hoping i finally have a copy of NOA2 by the time i hit 6 weeks at NVC because the only way they would inquire about my case with USCIS is if i send them a copy of NOA2. Who knows wha't happening with USCIS. Maybe they'll send it before 6 weeks, maybe they won't. It will happen when it happens. Fiancé and i are just hoping that we have a good outcome overall with the entire process. What's a few months of waiting as long as we can finally marry :) Hang in there!

For now forget about getting the NOA2 until you have finished your interview and she/he has landed in the states. We know two other couples recently and pressed the issue and their case was recalled from the Embassy and now they are waiting for something to happen. Been 2 weeks already and expect a few more. They had been approved and case reached the Embassy. So just lay back. There isn't anything you need the NOA2 for at this stage.

Hey guys! Does anyone know how long cases stay at NVC before they get sent to the embassy? I finally received my case # on 7-25. So it’s been 8 days. I’ve been looking at everyone’s timeline and it ranges from 5-8 days from receiving the case number. I’d appreciate the feedback. 😊

Hello all! Just called NVC (was not even put on hold!) and was told they had received our case today 8/2/18. Hoping to get that case number soon!

Our NOA2 July 13, NVC case number July 27 now waiting as it still says "at NVC".

I wonder how long it takes at NVC...

Nobody can say with any certainty when the case number will be assigned. It used to take 10 business days but for some it's been more then 6 weeks to 6 months. Just have to have patience.

I started calling NVC when it hit 7 days.  Then everyday since it’s been 16 days since our NOA2. I just keep reminding my fiancé to look at the bright side,we are waiting for the NVC number while others are still in limbo with their receiving NOA2.

I guess it it all depends. Some are just luckier than others.  What are everyone else’s thoughts? Have others waited up to the six weeks?

We received ours today 17 days waiting....maybe yours will be tomorrow

I am on hold waiting for NVC rep, first time calling, how long did you guys wait to call after you received NOA2? Is 10 days too early? I was reading some got their case # in 10 days so I am trying my luck today.

I started calling after 10 days...but didn’t receive it until today. 17 days waiting for us. Now onto how long will it be for them to send it to the embassy 😜... let the counting start again 😂

Me too. If this wont be resolved by the 14th Ill just go and show up with my old appointment letter and see if they can fix it while I'm there. I dont know what else to do.

I was in Amsterdam today for the medical and visited the consulate to see if they could help me but I wasnt allowed in the building without an appointment

BTW, you need to know that while you are in the Embassy they require an appointment to use the restroom. So be sure to plan ahead and on their form, check "one who is in need" for the reason to use the restroom, otherwise you will have to wait 6 weeks :clock:for the next opening. :jest:  Oh, your signature needs to be "dry" for obvious reasons. Now will you excuse me I need to get back to what I was doing :pop:

I have been receiving the same response...but after 17 days waiting, today they asked for my fiancé name, birthday. And then gave us the case number. It may sound like they are not looking, but I bet they get tons of these phone calls all day long, everyday 😂 it will come....but no fears, this is the place to vent. Now we start our counting over again, how many days will it take to leave the NVC and reach our embassy 😜

Yes, the theory is the batch after August 7th will be the 21st.   You may get lucky and go on the 7th also.   I hope you do.   I had my NVC case number assigned on July 25th, so I just missed the July 24th batch.
