I started calling NVC when it hit 7 days.  Then everyday since it’s been 16 days since our NOA2. I just keep reminding my fiancé to look at the bright side,we are waiting for the NVC number while others are still in limbo with their receiving NOA2.

I guess it it all depends. Some are just luckier than others.  What are everyone else’s thoughts? Have others waited up to the six weeks?

We received our NOA2 July 9, I called NVC on July 19 for the first time and actually got our case number, but since then our status has continued to be "At NVC". Hoping it doesn't take much longer for them to get it sent over to the embassy, but seems it's not unusual to get held up at this point for whatever reason as well.

I still dont have an appointment. I wasnt able to pay the fee cause I was 'logged in wrong' according to the heldpdesk. So following the advise from the helpdesk I had them delete my account and have tried creating a new one, which I cant cause it keeps saying my email, ds160 and case number are already in use. I am stuck!!! And all i get back from the helpdesk is stupid drivel saying I need to follow instructions on the website.

i actually emailed the consulate today to ask if I could be manually entered into the system cause I can see this taking a long long time to straighten out

This is absolutely crazy!! My mind is boggled reading this. I assuming that the old account wouldn't let you cancel the appointment. I wander if creating a new email and DS 160 would allow you set up a new account? But then again, if you can do that the other appointment would need cancelled due to being wrong visa category. Crazy how the site let you through in the first place without paying the fee and with a DS-160 bar code clearly not linked. i just remember having to pay the fee and my eyes nearly popped out as I thought I could do this at the embassy. Clearly not. But it did give me a receipt with a big reminder to bring with me to interview.

Hope you get sorted. I'm sure you'll get sorted out one way or the other soon ❤️

You applied almost 2 months after me and we are almost at the same spot in the process. You will get your case number soon, don't worry.

Hey guys! Does anyone know how long cases stay at NVC before they get sent to the embassy? I finally received my case # on 7-25. So it’s been 8 days. I’ve been looking at everyone’s timeline and it ranges from 5-8 days from receiving the case number. I’d appreciate the feedback. 😊

Mine changed within a week but not everyone has been as lucky. Just depends on your embassy, I think.

Our NOA2 July 13, NVC case number July 27 now waiting as it still says "at NVC".

I wonder how long it takes at NVC...

I'm currently on day 21 since NOA2 approval of July 13 and still waiting for NVC. Been calling them as well everyday. Still patiently waiting, tho starting to accept the idea that I might reach 6 weeks. Problem is still don't have the hard copy of our NOA2. Which is not strange for me since i didn't receive my NOA1 until 45 days. Had to wait for 30 days for that before i could ask for a copy and another 15 days till they could resend it. The only sign i have of now of the NOA2 approval is the new website status and calling USCIS to speak to a TIER 2, who did confirm that we were already approved but i have to wait for 30 days before i could request one to be resent. Same drill. I'm sure nothing came in the mail because i'm signed up for informed delivery and my mom and brother checks our mail everyday. Just hoping i finally have a copy of NOA2 by the time i hit 6 weeks at NVC because the only way they would inquire about my case with USCIS is if i send them a copy of NOA2. Who knows wha't happening with USCIS. Maybe they'll send it before 6 weeks, maybe they won't. It will happen when it happens. Fiancé and i are just hoping that we have a good outcome overall with the entire process. What's a few months of waiting as long as we can finally marry :) Hang in there!

Ok so from what I read I need my WAC# and both our birthdates to call NVC. Well when I called today for the first time, this lady took my WAC# and then asked me what the date on my NOA2 is. I told her and she automatically said ‘You have to wait 6 weeks blah blah’. I have a feeling she didn’t even look at my case. When they look up our case, our Noa2 date should show up on her screen, no?? It was a useless call. Just wanted to vent!🤨

I posted this a couple of days ago... I notice a pattern where K1 petitions appear to be batched and sent every two weeks.   I am expecting the next batch to go out on Tuesday, Aug 7th.
