I've read a lot in this threat but can't seem to find the answer. I've been trying to call NVC since yesterday (in the morning, in the afternoon, etc) but can't get a hold on anyone. They're busy all the time, so is it just me? Is there any other way to get my NVC case number? Or is it just the only way? I'll keep trying though, but want to make sure.

Thank you!!!

Be sure to call 603-334-0700.  Press 1 for English and then 7.  After a wait somebody will come on the line and you can give them your WAC number.

I got through this morning but unfortunately they have not received the case yet from USCIS.  July 16 NOA2 so any time now (15 days so far).  Some lucky people have gotten an NVC number as quickly as 10 days.  The agent gives the standard response that it can take up to 6 weeks to receive but fortunately that seems to rarely happen.

If you get a recording that all agents are busy, just keep trying.  Sometimes I get that recording and just wait a few hours and try again.  When I have gotten through my waits have been 4, 25, 23, and 15 minutes.  The 4 minute wait was when I called early in the morning.

Thank you so much for the detailed response!! I tried calling yesterday just in case you know. My NOA2 is dated July 20th so it might be too early to call since probably it hasn't even left USCIS but wanted to try. I'll try again today then, thank you!! And hopefully you get some news soon, I'm sure it will arrive either today or tomorrow! 😊

Since I talked to somebody today I will wait until tomorrow to call again.

The only other way to get the number other than calling is to wait until they notify you.  I however want to speed up the process though and get the medical scheduled for my Fiancee and they won't allow her to schedule it unless she has the NVC number.

Oh okay, I was confused about how to proceed since I can't talk to anybody on the phone, but I guess all I can do is to keep calling.

Hopefully tomorrow is your day, so she can schedule her medical already! I'll hope for mine this week.

The 3 times I called the NVC (603-344-0700) I placed the call after 5PM PST (California) and had no wait every time.  After the voice prompt I pressed 1 for English and then 2 for an attendant.   They had my case number available 16 days after receiving my NOA2.

Be prepared with the following information:

1) Your WAC number

2) Beneficiaries Name and Birthdate

3) Petitioners Name and Birthdate.

Good luck.

Just got done with the medical, also the Belgrade embassy emailed me back saying that they sent out my P3 yesterday, so I should be receiving it in a few days.

It's crazy how much things have picked up in the last month since the NOA2, every week there is something new happening, a big difference from 6 and a half months of nothing hah 😁

I know I've seen it before but I can't find it now, where can I find the doctors in Sweden for my fiance's medical?  I've racked my brain and can't remember where I found it in the past.

Thanks

Jessica

Maybe they're not completely finished with your file. Do you have a case number? Eleven days is well within their processing period. Trust the process.

Thanks @Greenbaum!! Yes I already have a case number. Yeah I'm pretty sure it's just me getting a little bit impatient because it seems like everyone is getting their "in transit" status change within a week and mine isnt but I know comparing won't help and like you said, trust the process!!!!

I've looked through that first link several times though I have not seen anything that could possibly help me with my question. Thank you though.

My fiancé still haven't actually heard anything from the embassy. Which is why I'm afraid to schedule anything since it may be cancelled without notice. But many seem to schedule their interview as soon as it says "ready" on CEAC. So hopefully I'm not doing anything wrong.

Don't wanna wait another few months

The worse thing that will happen is the Embassy will cancel your appointment and scold you. Then they will tell you what you need to do and then you complete their instructions. Here is a great person to ask for some help. She is a great VJ'r and has helped many. She is from Denmark. Get in touch with @Georgia16. Good luck.
