Just found this on the FAQs page for the DS-160: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/forms/ds-160-online-nonimmigrant-visa-application/ds-160-faqs.html

"Dates of your last five visits or trips to the United States, if you have previously travelled to the United States."

still don't know what I'm gonna do lol

What's interesting is that the form actually allows you to enter more than 5. Curious.

As far as I can tell, we don't have visas as Canadians entering for business, vacation, or as students, even though we end up with B-1, B-2, or F-1 status etc. I'm going to say no to that question.

Thanks! Same with me. 🙂

It's weird but our case still says 'in transit'-must not be that quick for London to update to ready status. Was sent last Wednesday, so hopefully we will see some movement with that over the next few days @rrobin0609

First of all, congrats on the approval! I'm sorry its so messy, it should be a joyous occasion.

Returned to NVC sounds like the embassy returned the package? If I was you I'd either call the embassy or the NVC right away to see what's going on. NVC people are really nice, best time to contact them is between 5 and 6 Eastern time. Good luck!

What did the letter say? When you say you received a letter, was that a paper letter and not an email? Have you checked your "spam" email folder to see if the approval letter landed there? I'd recommend calling NVC and get to a tier 2 or supervisor to get this ironed out. If you feel comfortable please let us know your progress and any findings. This will get worked out but it going to take some time.

No need to worry yet. Call them and ask to speak to a tier 2 agent. NVC has been in the last few weeks knocking these out after 10 business days so I don't know why yours is delayed.

Yes I received snail mail dated 6th July from the NvC saying they were forwarding it on the the Australian embassy. . I have never recieved any emails. Both uscis websites still say case recieved... we did an inquiry mid way through June and they responded with pending adjucation & zero updates till this today. Pretty devastating to be screwed around by uscis and now this as well.

Hi folks,

Just a few questions about the DS-160 for my k-1 if anyone has a few mins to help me out!

1. Previous US travel: This is still stressing me out because I find different information when I search up how many visits to enter. I have a LOT of previous travel to the US, but I keep reading that some people just enter the last 5 visits...thoughts? You are only required to enter the five most recent trips to the U.S.

2. Have you ever been issued a US visa? This one is confusing because I was an F-1 student for 9 years, but as a Canadian had that "status" without ever having a "visa" in my passport. Should I say yes or no? Don't confuse to "having a visa in your passport" to a "visa was issued". If a visa was issued or you received a stamp at immigration then you must enter into your DS-160.

3. Photo - do I need to upload a passport photo if I'm doing a K-1? I'll be taking 2 to the interview and 5 to the medical lol... You can't complete the DS-160 without uploading a passport size photo.

Thank you!

@Alex876 @Jlomartin See above.

Good morning y'all!  We are filling out the i-134 form and was wondering if someone has an answer for us.

When looking at Section 10 Dependent Info on the I-134 form should I be entering the beneficiaries information in that section?  And that they are wholly dependent on me for support?  And relationship would be fiancee?  OR is this part referring to current dependents who are wholly dependent on them?

Thanks in advance!

Technically, your fiancé(e) is not considered a dependent so her information is not entered in that area, but if you have biological children that are dependent on you then you would list them.

My opinion is that you call both the US Embassy their in Aussie and also NVC. Just be respectful but don't get off the phone till you are satisfied with the answers they are giving.
