All the NVC does is assign you a new number and send your USC a mail that the package has been sent to the embassy. The embassy will send you package 3 as soon as your case gets there from the NVC. The process and P3 differs for every embassy.

Try and see if you can find some other VJ'ers who have gone through the Denmark (why you have to go to Sweden?) embassy lately and ask if they are willing to share their package 3 with you. That way you will know what is expected of you.

@Greenbaum has collected many P3's from different embassies, he might know.

I am waiting for my NVC number too, once I have that I'm not waiting on P3 but will finish my DS160 and schedule my medical. The medicals in the Netherlands are usually a month out so I'm not worried about having my medical records at the embassy before the package arrives. I can't book my interview until the case is at the embassy, but you might. Its embassy specific.

Ops! I should of have checked the links before sending, they however have similar name. It could be that they changed names or something.

The last link also contain for other embassies. Some might work some might not. I know the one from the Frankfurt (Germany) embassy work.

I am gonna check in a minute the one I have on my PC and send it to you via PM so you can see if that is what you're looking for.

I got the document and it was exactly what I was looking for. Thank you.

I don't have any information on Sweden or Denmark's Packet 3 letter. If someone get's their hands on one I appreciate a copy. Some of the less used Embassy's I don't have in my library.

I have to go through Sweden because for some reason everyone from Norway, Denmark and Sweden have to go through the same Embassy.

The American Embassy in Sweden has a website with a list of everything to bring to the interview which I've been using. Is that packet 3?

Hey guys.

My fiancée and I got our NVC number. I'm wondering if it's too early to schedule the medical exam at this point? I'm afraid the medical package will land at the American Embassy  in Sweden before the package from the NVC and that'll give me problems later on?

I'm wondering this because I've no idea if the Embassy knows I'll be scheduling an interview later on already or not. I don't want them to "throw away" my medical because I'm not in their system or something.

Wondering if @Greenbaum could possibility help with this? You know so much ^_^ (Don't know how to tag properly I see xD How do I do that?)

Thank you for any help!

I dug a little deeper and I did find the P3 letter for Sweden. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1BisN4qiyeYPgm_ZSi_6VRs8XAecvTfIj/view?usp=sharing

To tag you just begin typing the "@" sign then first letter and that should begin the pop up box with a list of similar names. Continue to type the name till you see it and then select it. It will turn blue in your reply and you go onto finishing your communication.

I'm honestly not exactly sure what packet 3 is all about?

And I also don't know what we're allowed to do or not. I knew so much about the first part of this process. Now I'm completely lost as what to do.

P3 is the Embassy instructions that outlines what needs to be completed before the interview and brought to the interview but in some cases the Embassy can ask for it to be sent to them before hand so they can inspect that you have everything and if not they can contact you further.

Not positive either, but I think it is just a letter or email that gives you the next set of instructions of what to do next.

That's correct and it is Embassy specific.

From the NVC or the Embassy, you think?

Embassy.

I think it is the embassy because it is embassy specific instructions.

Yes that's correct. @conarroest have you tried going to the sub-forum for your region and see if someone there can help explain the next steps of what you can do now to prepare for the interview. If you can find the time I would recommend that you read through this thread and June

as I have given many examples to others how to use the valuable tools located here on VJ. It'll take a little work on your part but in the end it gets you to the "prize". In the June thread you don't need to go to the beginning but I would go back about 15 tabs and begin reading. It should help you to understand the process.

Helllo everyone.

Two things, please:
1- Do you, perhaps have P3 or any other informations for Brazil?

2- I'm the benefitiary and my address changed after we sent out our
documentos in December. I know I need to call the embassy in Rio de Janeiro,
but I'm wondering if I should call right when I get the recept number
or I should wait longer? Because it can take a while for embassy to recive
my package. What if I call and they hasnt gotten my packege yet or what
if I call and they already sent to my old house?

Thanks.
