Our NOA2 was July 7th (I know its a Saturday but thats what our hardcopy says...)

Called NVC and they received the case today July 18th, so 8 business days later.

No case number yet, but I will call again Friday.

Woohoo!

I don't have a P3 letter from DR so when you get one if you could be so kind and share it with me I then could share back to others who will come behind you. Also, check your portal page and your Embassy's webpage for information as to what is next.

http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Dominican%20Republic&cty=Santo%20Domingo

You may want to check out the sub forum for your country and ask your questions there. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/153-caribbean/

If this is little activity for the DR then start a thread using DR in the title and others will join and you can begin to share information on the K-1 process for DR. Haitian ppl here started one and it's proven invaluable. Good luck.

Hi. Someone sent me this document a long ago via PM, which I am pretty sure it is the P3. At least that was what the user received from the SD/DR Consulate. Is this (again) what you're looking for?

I also happen to find it recently here too which has Embassy-specific instructions and directly from travel.state(dot)gov. I thought it could be helpful.

Neither of those showed anything that would help. One is a dead page and the other leads me to the same page as the first one you gave me. Thanks for your effort. If you get something let me know.

I got my NOA2 7/16/2018, I was wondering does anyone have any information from the embassy in Bogota Colombia. Thanks so much.

Visit the VJ sub forum for all things dealing with the US Embassy in the Colombian and they will answer your questions for the processing of your visa

from their personal experience. Link:

http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/96-mexico-latin-south-america/

Get the US Embassy Colombian K1 Embassy Letter (EL) at  https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7hB3bl9Snfkb0NiMVFUd2JsVjA/view  as this is your bible needed to complete and receive your visa. The required documents are included and use the EL as a check list. Once you have completed or gathered the required documents you'll be ready for your interview. If it is not on the Embassy letter, it probably is not needed.

Last but not least, READ the pages on the US Embassy website for your country so that you are up to speed.

http://bogota.usembassy.gov/

One last place to check for information would be the VJ Wiki found here: http://www.visajourney.com/wiki/index.php/Special:AllPages and here http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Colombia&cty=Bogota

Good luck and God's speed.

Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline or your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. If you look at the profile others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine your Embassy. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Thanks

Ops! I should of have checked the links before sending, they however have similar name. It could be that they changed names or something.

The last link also contain for other embassies. Some might work some might not. I know the one from the Frankfurt (Germany) embassy work.

I am gonna check in a minute the one I have on my PC and send it to you via PM so you can see if that is what you're looking for.

Hey guys.

My fiancée and I got our NVC number. I'm wondering if it's too early to schedule the medical exam at this point? I'm afraid the medical package will land at the American Embassy  in Sweden before the package from the NVC and that'll give me problems later on?

I'm wondering this because I've no idea if the Embassy knows I'll be scheduling an interview later on already or not. I don't want them to "throw away" my medical because I'm not in their system or something.

Thank you for any help!

We have our case number and also are confused as to what we are allowed and not allowed to do with our Embassy so we just gave up and are waiting for packet 3 to arrive. We don't know if we are allowed to schedule the medical or fill out the ds160 without the actual letter.

I'm honestly not exactly sure what packet 3 is all about?

And I also don't know what we're allowed to do or not. I knew so much about the first part of this process. Now I'm completely lost as what to do.

Not positive either, but I think it is just a letter or email that gives you the next set of instructions of what to do next.

From the NVC or the Embassy, you think?

I think it is the embassy because it is embassy specific instructions.
