If your case status says ready. You should be able to submit DS-160 and pay fee and then I think they will contact you for scheduling an interview. Our embassy is similar. At least that’s what I’m trying to figure out because our previous members didn’t leave us anything to work with. Our portal is outdated. Maybe after you figure it out, I recommend you to update your embassy portal so future applicants don’t get confused like we are😳

I was sent an email the following day :)

My case is now "ready" too.  She got her new NBI yesterday, will get an expedited passport tomorrow (her current has incorrect birthday in it; expedited takes 7 business days), Medical next week and thinking to schedule the interview the week of the 10th.  Finally getting close to finishing this.

Oh great! What was the email about exactly? to apply for DS-160 or to schedule and appt? I wasn’t sure what you have done before receiving the email. It might help me understand our embassy process as well. Thanks!

Can someone please explain what exactly these are???:help:

Individual Civil Record: ??????

Family Extract: I'm assuming this is my fiance's family information, like siblings and parents

Death Certificate if applicable: both his parents are deceased, are they needing his parent's death certificate? or is this more towards spousal visa applicants (widowers), those that have been married before?

That must be something new as I always knew that it would be ACCXXXXXXX001 01 then ACCXXXXXXX001 02 then ACCXXXXXXX001 03 and so on and so forth. Don't forget to read carefully especially when scheduling the interview because you pay have to pay individual and not combined or they will ask on some forms is there anyone else that you would like …….

My case is ready and it was exactly like you say!!

I know that after 2 weeks i can start calling nvc for a case number but im not sure if there is anything else that i need to ask them for when i call. Also what is the website where i can check the progress of my case to be able to see when its ready and the embassy has recieved it.

My fiance called 10days after noa2 so you can basically ask your case number then.

Our case was last reviewed today.  What does it mean when the review dates change on the CEAC website?

It usually means you sent something in recently and they updated your case.

Oh. Does this often happen? I sent via email packet 3 checklist without their request. Could this be the reason why they would update?

Do they update the review date cause they updated something on their end or sent packet 3 to us by chance?

Where are you seeing those items? P3? Once I see what context they are asking this in, I maybe able to opine.

Yes yes. I think I figured them out. But you can confirm. This is the checklist to bring to the interview I believe.  44858583-421C-4FCD-BA50-8DDCC08ABBE8.thumb.jpeg.69d882e5acc58ede784e718cadee03e5.jpeg

Yes they are probably updating the fact that you sent something in.

Individual Civil RecordPolice Clearance

Family Extract: I'm assuming this is my fiancé's family information, like siblings and parents  Birth Certificate

Death Certificate if applicable: both his parents are deceased, are they needing his parent's death certificate? or is this more towards spousal visa applicants (widowers), those that have been married before? Whether filing for K-1 or CR-1 this is required if indeed you have a situation that calls for one. I personally had to provide one for the death of my previous spouse.

Since I am able to self sponsor for AOS and add my savings, do you guys think it would be beneficial to bring my own account statement showing the funds I plan to add to the petitioners income (we are at 123% with his income from last tax return), just to help reassure the CO that we will be good to AOS
