K1 Visa fee help

Hi everyone. I know I am a bit ahead of myself because we don't even have an approved K1 yet but I have a question about the Visa fees. I tried to search for an answer but I cannot find one.

In the Morocco portal I clicked on The Casablanca Consulate Information. Here: http://www.visajourney.com/consulates/index.php?ctry=Morocco&cty=Casablanca

Under "additional info" it has this:

Additional Costs?
-police certificate = 50Dh
-birth certificate = 2Dh
-translations = 150Dh per translation (600Dh for birth,court,police, celibacy)
-visa interview fee- $265 or the equivalent in Dirhams
-visa fee = 1300Dh (includes cost of fingerprinting)

Can someone please tell me what the visa fee= 1300Dh is for? Is this paid to the embassy? I thought there was just a fee for the ds-160 of $265 for a K1 visa

Thank you all in advance for your help!

The information you have here are not posted by the Embassy itself. These are written by members and updated by members for the information purposes only. Hence, "additional fees"

Your fee when applying for the k1 visa is 265 US DOLLARS

The rest of the "additional fees" listed above applies if you want you want to use any of the services listed above such as if you want a police report, that is how much it will cost you to obtain one. If you need a BC, that is how much it will cost you to get a new one, if you need any translations, that is how much it will cost you do it.

Also the medical exams if required you have to pay for them on your own.

The K1 visa process is fee is the 265 dollars.

The visa fee for the K1 is $265. You pay it at the consulate in USD or Moroccan dirham equivalent.

Thanks guys! So no need for the 1300Dh. I just couldn't figure out what that was supposed to be for.
