Hello everyone,  where would I go to make a change for the MAILING address for my fiancé? Also, whatever process this is, is it reliable and has anyone done the same with success (your beneficiary received their mail to the new address?)

We are currently waiting on the NOA2, thanks

If the beneficiary has changed her address in the same country where the beneficiary resides...there is no need to change it until NOA-2 is received.  Usually for k-1 you get a email and not a letter from USCIS or NVC after I-129F is approved.  That is also dependent on the country, since some receive packet 3 and/or packet 4 also. In Ukraine you only receive notice by email, no address needed other than for delivery of your passport, and even that is not necessary, because you can have it delivered at the postal agency

I’m a little confused, I get you get an email perhaps but don’t they need a current mailing address? I’m trying to see how what your saying would work, I get an email first and at some point I they will send my fiancé and me some paperwork, they are are going to need a good mail to address when would I tell them and if I alert them to an address change at this point in the process when we get an email notification would it slow up our process?

thank you for you help

I will preface my answer by stating that some procedures vary by embassy.

In my experience, no the embassy did not need a current mailing address because they paperwork was emailed/downloaded.  Actually the embassy called my fiancée first to confirm her email.

I did not alert them to an address change so I don’t know if that will slow you down.

The more I read and think about this I beginning to think the beneficiary only needs a mailing address to get his/her K1 Visa after the interview and sealed packet to take to the US, correct me if I’m wrong but I (the petitioner) will get notified of the approved I 129F, a case number from the NVC and also the procedural steps that the Embassy sends that my Fiancé needs do.

Based on my experience, I would agree with you that the mailing address is only needed to get the passport and the sealed packet.  You have to fill out the DS-160 anyways so that's when you can list your fiancee's  new address for the embassy.

Yes you will get notified as the petitioner about the approval for I-129F.  Not sure if you get will notified about the case number from NVC (I didn't when we went through the process and as I recall a lot of others didn't back then either.  Not sure what the situation is now).  I did not get notified about the procedural steps for the embassy, the packet of instructions was e-mailed to my fiancee.

It really sounds like a mailing address is only needed for the sealed packet, my only worry is Bolivia poor mail system and the chance of not getting something important.

I called and was told beneficiary needs to go to their embassy and deal with it through them because USCIS cannot change foreign addresses
