Photos to attach as proof of meet in past 2 years, how did you print them?

Hi

I'm putting together our I-129F package and I have a question about the photos. All of our photos are digital and were taken with mobile phones, so I put them all in 1 .word file with some description etc, Is it ok to print everything on normal paper? Maybe using a slightly thicker one but still normal paper instead of photo paper ? Any suggestions?

I screenshotted the images from Facebook to show the upload/capture date and include the likes/comments so they could see there was activity from our friends/family. Then I put them in a word document and called it good. I just printed on regular paper and did those in color. I resized so I could do a couple per page (2-3).

I actually had mine printed out at Walmart and stick them on A4 paper lol

  • (Day 24) Jun 09 2018 - Received all receipts (NOA) from USCIS, also the Biometrics Appointment letter (Appointment date: Jun 18) 
  • (Day 33) Jun 18 2018 - Arrived Helena ASC at 9.15am (Appointment at 10am), finished at 9.35am (Yea it was super quick!)
  • (Day 35) Jun 20 2018 - Received SMS & Email notification request for evidence for my I-485
  • (Day 40) Jun 25 2018 - Courtesy letter for I-693 (Report of Medical Examination and Vaccination Record) received
  • (Day 61) Jul 16 2018 - Case status of I-485 changed to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview"

there is no rule on that, we did them on b&w paper just printed out from my printer. nothing fancy, just plain old printer paper

The only thing that I had actual photos of (on regular photo paper rather than plain office paper) instead of pictures consolidated into a Word doc were the 2x2 passport-style pictures (mine taken at a UPS store, Anastasia's taken somewhere in her hometown, image file emailed to me and uploaded to Walmart.com to print). I filed in May, so I can't be sure that was fine, but seemed like a lot of people before me did something similar.

I printed everything from a word document on normal printer paper for our photos and proof of meeting.  I typed some comments above photos/boarding passes/etc to explain what I was including! From what I’ve read on here, it should be completely acceptable to do it this way.

its fine. i used our printer at work and copied them. there were also some originals that i tossed in after the fact and was just being lazy.

Ciaooooo,

We just mailed our documents for the I-129F form. I put all the pictures in a word file and at the bottom of each photos I wrote a description (people in the picture, date, place, what we did) and I printed them on normal paper with a colour laser printer. I think that there are no rules about the pictures. There are rules only about the passport style pictures.

Ciao,

 

There are no specific rules for how to print your evidence, neither for how to put it together.

When we sent our I-129F package all the photos were printed on standard paper, and each had a handwritten caption on the back.

 

When I did my interview, I had all my photos printed on photographic paper. I knew there was a chance the Consul would personally ask for photographic evidence, and I thought it would be more practical to just have regular photos to handle.

 

It’s really up to you. In bocca al lupo!

I copy/Pasted all the photos onto a word document then printed out the document, it was like 12 pictures/4 pages with a written discription    

 

in hindsight I would’ve been on the safe side and doubled the amount

Same here. I printed 5 photos at Walmart from our 1 and only meeting.  Put them in an envelope. No dates or descriptions on back.  My petition was approved no issues
