Both candidates knew the rules going in and Trump had the better strategy for gaining electoral votes. Popular vote is irrelevant here. If the election was about popular vote I am sure all candidates would have used a different strategy and Trump may have won the popular vote. It's a moot point because we are getting into a hypothetical situation. What is more important is who won by the rules that were in place during the election and everything else is basically irrelevant. People need to seriously stop whining about an election that happened almost 2 years ago and move on.

The question was asked "So the Russians wanted Trump to win?  No kidding.  Who didn’t?  " And I answered it.  No whining or psychological distressed involved.

And yet, he’s our president.  Amazing how it works, eh?

Yes, you attempted to use the fact that Trump had a few less popular votes.  But those don’t decide the outcome, obviously.  And I am sure that Russia isn’t the only country who would prefer the outcome we had.  Not that it really matters, but that’s my opinion.

Not that I cared what other countries wanted, but I would say North Korea seems to be happy with our current regime. Other than that, I don't think the list of countries who preferred Trump is that long.

The bottom line is other countries can have their preferences about what they would like the USA to be, but they should not be participating in our election process.

I agree with the interference part.  And I am sure there were countries with which Hillary already some deals brokered that were unhappy to see Trump win.  But overall, I believe most countries were happier to see Trump in office (minus the current tariff situation).
