Senate panel upholds finding that Russia backed Trump

The Senate Intelligence Committee has unequivocally upheld the conclusion of the intelligence community that Russia developed a "clear preference" for then-candidate Donald Trump in the 2016 election and sought to help him win the White House.

The assessment, announced in an unclassified summary released Tuesday, represents a direct repudiation of the committee’s counterpart in the House — and of President Trump himself, who has consistently rejected assertions that Moscow sought to bolster his candidacy through its election interference.

So the Russians wanted Trump to win?  No kidding.  Who didn’t?  Aside from the Hillary sheeple, I mean?  Several countries would have preferred Trump to win, I am sure.  The only ones to benefit from Hillary winning are those whom paid a lot of (misplaced) money behind her.

Your response seemed a bit superficial is all.

I responded to the details in your link.  You know, the one that said Russia wanted Trump to win.  No ####, eh?  Who didn’t?

The "sought to help him win" part is something you may want to pay attention to down the road.

I’ve been hearing about “something on the horizon”  daily for the past 18 months or so.  Tired of the BS.  Time to move on.

The majority of the voters.

Edit .. sorry in hindsight this is a bit snarky , but accurate.

Not sure what country you are from, but here in the US, we use the electoral college.  And the majority of the electoral votes were for Trump.  At least I THINK that’s why he’s the sitting president.  I have been wrong before, however.

Does it matter where I am from ? I learned about majority, plurality the electoral college and the three distinct branches of government in middle school. Not sure if that changes the accuracy of the President not capturing the majority of votes in America.

And yet, he’s our president.  Amazing how it works, eh?

Both candidates knew the rules going in and Trump had the better strategy for gaining electoral votes. Popular vote is irrelevant here. If the election was about popular vote I am sure all candidates would have used a different strategy and Trump may have won the popular vote. It's a moot point because we are getting into a hypothetical situation. What is more important is who won by the rules that were in place during the election and everything else is basically irrelevant. People need to seriously stop whining about an election that happened almost 2 years ago and move on.

Love him or hate him, but it can't be denied

Just when you think you have TDS eradicate,  a new case shows up.
