Has anybody recently had any problems with Knightsbridge?

I went for my medical on the 14th and was asked to provide more information - sure, I can do that. I sent back a 4 page letter from my GP on the 19th. I then called up on the 21st to confirm that they'd received it because I'd not heard anything back - nope, nada. I then resent the letter to the same email address that I'd emailed it to on the 19th and finally received confirmation. Woo, progress. I was told that my medical will be signed off no later than 3 working days. On the 26th, I gave them a quick call to check the status and was told that my medical had been signed off and sent to the embassy. I'd already had my interview by this point so it was just a matter of waiting for the medical results to be sent over. But no, gut feeling told me to double check and I'm glad that I did because my medical results have actually been sitting on a desk at Knightsbridge, and were only sent off today after I enquired about it. Frustrating.

In my opinion Knightsbridge has been a pain since mid-January. Before that the medicals would be at the embassy for sure in only four days, except for cases like yours.  But even then, they went out the same day they received your additional documents. That was the same time the embassy moved locations and they became a pain organizing the medicals to the files. Or maybe they are actually fine and Knightsbridge is the actual only pain.

Used to be you did the medical and interview all in the same day, took the medical results with you to the Consulate.
