How much time do you spend on VJ?

I'll admit that I am addicted to VJ, and  I'm sure I spend several hours a day here.  Regardless of how early I start, or how often I cruise the forums, a few of my "buddies" are almost always active.  So, I'll ask "How much time do you send on Visa Journey"?

I only spend about 5-10 minutes at a time browsing, but I'm always checking back like 10-15 times a day during down times at work. So I'd say about 2 hours or so are dedicated to browsing. Less during the weekend, I usually only check once or twice a day on Saturdays and Sundays.

I hate my job, so I probably spend way more time than I should here browsing throughout the day. I like the folks here better than the ones I have to stare at all day.

 

I don't get on much during the weekends, unless we need/want to read up on something in particular.

Same here as well. Lucky or Unlucky for me depending on how you look at it is that my job is IT so I spend 99% of my work day behind my screens at work. So yes I will be doing two things on one screen while VJ will be on my main screen like it is now. So that is why I post more during the week than the weekend when I have with my kids to spend time on here

I Become an addict of searching the threads and helping people, I think that since I found this AWESOME NICHE I will never be out of this, I always going to stay here helping others, because I went thru the process and I know how lost we feel starting the process!!

I'm certainly addicted right now lol. Here a few times a day. Don't think that will last much longer but I just feel like I have built this incredible amount of nuanced information that is useless unless I share it here

More than a healthy amount...

 

It varies heavily for me. On a typical weekday, I check in a number of times a day (usually while waiting for code to compile/run/whatever other hurry-up-and-wait task), then usually an evening sweep and then a late night sweep to see what's new. Some days it's a matter of like 30 min, some days it's a few hours.

I also pop my head in via mobile during extended waits.

Yup, it varies for me too. It’ll generally be a quick look in the morning and the evening, and when I have time to waste which can vary widely, but I also only tend to look at maybe 5 or 6 forum subsections regularly (if you see me on others it’s a slow day for me haha).  I’d never get to a few hours a day though, I doubt it’s more than an hour total on my most “intense” days.  I have to be honest, once I’m through my naturalization process (which with the backlog could take forever ) I’ll probably end up slowly disentangling from VJ.

 

One forum I used to hang out on had user stats like average posts per day etc, it was quite fun to see and would be fun here I think
