Go to the website, generally between 12am and 2am. That's when appointments go live. They only go live Monday-Friday so you'll have to try your luck. Schedule an appointment and get an I551 stamp. We've been waiting since August 2016 so be prepared to wait. Some offices will give you a six month extension, others 12 months. I'm on my third six month stamp!

Also - make sure your passport isn't expiring in the near future.

Conditional lawful permanent residents are required to file a Form I-751 petition in the 90 days before their status expires. Once the Form I-751 is filed, the individual’s resident status is automatically extended for a period of one year. This one-year extension is proven with the receipt notice for the Form I-751, which indicates that the person’s status has been extended. That receipt notice can be used for employment purposes, and also for travel purposes to demonstrate that the person is still a resident

Yes, if you need more information on the status and your current green card validity or extension, you can book info pass.

OP has already filed for I751 and is at the year extension mark. If they want to travel/need proof of employment eligibility, they will need an I551 from an InfoPass appointment.

You were approved already? I checked our timeline and we applied at the exact same times for both. We're still waiting

I'm glad you are 100% totally finished! (and can't wait to join you) :D
