I just got the approval letter on the mail for my i-765 and i-131 , both application got approved on 11/23/2018 , but nothing has changed online on both website , I will never trust those case status app again

I'm sure this has been asked over & over on this board but does anyone know the timing for actually getting the EAD/AP card (and SS for those who asked to receive a SS card)? Curious as we received the approval letters on Monday of this week.

Thanks in advance!

I would like to know that too. Just missed an interview because not able to prove that the petition was approved. The stupid old system doesn't show (uscis.gov check case status) the approval and they can't/won't check otherwise.... ,they want to see the card itself.....

I talked with an USCIS rep and she said the prescripted answer of up to 30 days for the approval letter and up to 60 days for the card itself...

people typically receive the card in about 5-10 days from when the online website said "card is mailed"
typically it's a process- one says approval i.e. "Card is being produced"
and then once it is mailed, it says something like "card is mailed"

Y'all might want to check if you're still stuck in "card being produced." I think i've heard a few people where that took more time than normal.

in regards to SS, it's been a mix
some got it the same day that EAD card came in the mail.
Others took about another week.

I think how quickly you get SS depends on how long your card stayed in "production" before it was mailed out.

Thanks - unfortunately my case isn't showing updated (and locked out of the old site). I'm hoping its the same time frame when you receive the actual 797c letter saying EAD/AP has been approved?

lol
who really knows
Am pretty sure that system is all jacked up

My understanding was that "case approved" and "card being produced" is one and the same. lol
why else would a card be produced if a case is not approved?

Sorry
I have no idea what the timeline is with the approval letter and the website
but if you got a letter, that's something! hopefully your card should be coming shortly

Hello

so yesterday my AOS status was change to interview scheduled and my EAD got  notification twice but the status still case was received, today I had severals notification again from my AOS and EAD kinda weird because the status was still the same. Is anyone experience this?

They will still send to me my EAD and AP even though I will have my interview next month or maybe January?

Hi all, I’m new to this forum, but my wife revived her EAD, AP, and AOS approval letters in the mail the past few days. I called the USCIS to ask if this was real and do we need to prepare for an interview or not. The officer (tier 2) said 99% of approval letters bypass interviews. Have any of you had this experience? Have you heard of this happening to anyone?

NOA1 - June 26, 2017

NOA2 - January 17, 2018

NVC # Received - January 31, 2018

I haven't seen any K1s bypassing the interview, but hey if you're approved then just celebrate! :) Congratulations! We're on the same timeline for EAD so I hope to be next in line :)
