It’s called Case Tracker, you can download it from the App Store and you can search through cases. It’s pretty good! Although makes me mixed emotions when someone after my number gets approved!

Thanks for this. Just downloaded it and had a sigh of relief coz seems like most of the cases on the same timeline as me have the same “Case Received” message and there are only 2 or 3 cases have already been completed. Not sure if I’m gonna keep this app coz it’ll just give me anxiety but thanks for the heads up! Really hoping we’re including our EAD approvals on our Stuff to be Thankful For on Thanksgiving next week. 😂😂

I’ve seen some 17th July’s get approved on the app recently so they shouldn’t be too far from our cases. We’re a day or two apart with our EAD NOA1 so hopefully we get approved around the same time!

As for the AOS interviews, I have a feeling I’ll be waiting at least 9-12 months for mine :( my local office says it’s 9.5 - 33 months until interview, so I’m not checking that one hahaha.

I got my online notice on the 31st of july! hopefully they come soon. Im in the interview line for my GC! but i just want to work 🙄

I most certainly will be! I already got my AP so I’m visiting home after thanksgiving so I’m also thankful for that!

I originally filed AP and EAD together but they rejected my first EAD as the form had just gone out of date so my AP was filed in june. I also put a travel date on my AP and it was approved before then so I’m not sure if that helped speed it up either. Shame I won’t get the combo card though as this piece of paper seems a bit flimsy!

Maybe this could help ease some minds of those who are  waiting for an EAD and got an  RFE.

We got an RFE  and we took over one full month to  return  the requested evidence (we had to wait for a document). I  know they say this will slow down your EAD by at least a month; our lawyer  said it would slow it  down 2-3 months. However, yesterday,  we received a notification that our card is being processed and shipped to our address.

In conclusion,  I don't  think  an  RFE  impacts EAD processing time.

Good luck to those still waiting!

Hey guys,

i havent been on here for MONTHS, im a July I-485 filer, no time to read three as I’m working full time , have a toddler, and I’m pregnant with twins.

I need some peace of mind . I received my update August 13th that our interview is ready to be scheduled and they’d send a letter..... I’m still waiting 3 months later. My sister got hers 2 weeks after her update.... ( she filed I-485 May 2018)

am I missing something here?

Obv USCIS customer service reps don’t know anything, my husband doesn’t speak fluent English, they won’t talk to me, they just tell him that the update says they WILL send the interview notice and it’s not time specific and our case is still within normal processing time. Our twins our due January - February and I’m kinda stressing out from everything .

Is is there anything we can do ?

please and thank you 🙏🏼

Ps: We did just get work permit for him end of October.

As far as I know, it will depend in background checks and how long they take. It's not guaranteed to be the same timeframe for everyone so there isn't much you can do except wait. Also depends on the wait time at your local office (if different to your sisters). Sorry :(

Mine updated to "Case is Ready to be Scheduled" on August 27th. Still haven't heard anything from them, but I don't think there's anything to worry about. 🙂

Personally, I would just love to have my EAD already. So close yet so far. Not working is driving me nuts. LOL

Hello everyone,

Please help!

I got a notification today that says USCIS ordered a new card under my EAD application but AP status still the same "Application Received".

Am I going to get my AP card/approved later or it will come together? I really want my AP approved.

Thank you, guys.
