You won't see a change. They won't change that 'ready to schedule interview' until they actually schedule it. I have had that status since August.

Fill out your profile and timeline. That'll be the first step to getting better info. :)

You probably have a few weeks before you hear anything as it looks like the majority of approvals are still in june, some early July though.

PD doesn't really help us since that depends on what u are adjusting from.
Are u adjusting from a K-1?

She meant update your VJ timeline since what you just wrote here we cannot keep scrolling to every time someone wants to help u answer ur question.
What day did you file? When is ur NOA date? etc.

To update ur VJ timeline, go to the top of your profile page

Click on "My timeline", "edit" and then fill in the information as needed

Actually, you get the change "Ready to schedule interview" when NBC thinks your file is ready- i.e. no RFEs

I think how quickly you get this depends on your local office.

once u get the status "Ready to schedule", it means the local office is ready to take the case.

When your local office finally schedules the interview, then it changes to "interview is scheduled"

How long it takes from "ready to schedule" to "interview scheduled" can be a matter of days to almost a year.

Yeah, that's what I meant. When they have your stuff together and think you're good to get scheduled, your status changes, but the chances of you getting that interview vary. California and Texas? Pffff

Actually, Some folks in San Diego, Cal from AUGUST already got interviews-- I was flabbergasted to say the least....

I don't even understand.

They really ought to spread out the workload a bit. lol
but at least cal as a whole is about a year. Texas people-- houston fellas in particular--- am hearing they picked back up. April 2017 folks are up right now.. that's like 18 months! Goooooddd riddance

AS Baltimore is taking more time to schedule interviews, not expecting my interview anywhere soon. But I am more concerned about my ead. Just want to know weather something is happening on my ead as I don’t see any status update. Am I the only one like this or others facing the same?

i see for others status moved to ‘finger print review completed’. But mine still in case received status. Does that mean my case is processing slowly?

Some status just never change until the cards are send. Their status system is not reliable ;)

No

It does not mean anything.

Some people will have their status update, others will not

it all depends on who's looking at ur case and if they update things timely or not at all

EADs are taking anywhere from 4-6 months.

By your timeline, you are an august filer. It's based on ur NOA date

So am guessing you have at LEAST another 5 weeks or so to go since they're primarily processing June filers and a few early July folks

I am getting a USCIS letter in the post today but have had nothing in my case status to say what it is! I am nervously waiting for the mailman who doesn’t come until around 4pm!

What are people thinking it could be?

Had our interview today.  They separated us and asked us similar questions.  However there was no decision made.  How long does it normally take after that?  Officer said she had to do one final review as she does with all her cases, and if it looks ok then we are approved.  The anxiety is killing me

Errr

Portland is semi-okay office at about 5-7 months for interviews

So it IS possible it's your notice for interview-- tho that puts you on pace for a 4/5 month interview which would be super fast!

could also be an RFE...

Please keep us posted! The suspense is killing me as well

U have up to 30 days to get a decision

most people get it within a week

Congrats on ur interview!

Congrats on ur interview!

I hope it’s not another RFE! We already had one before it was scheduled for interview but if it is it’s probably because they lost something.

I’m hoping it’s my interview letter. I would love it to be my advance parole (I put in the application that I would be taking a trip October 26th) but I cancelled it seeing as it didn’t look like it would come in time.

I’ll let you know as soon as it’s in my hands!

ohhhhhhhhhhhhh

Ur timeline didn't show an RFE...

Well then-- it's rare to get TWO RFEs so it's likely to be your interview notice!

Or-- it could also be your EAD/AP

Either way, I think you're getting good news today. Congrats in advance
