This is so exciting!!!!! I'm July 6th NO1 hope to hear something today!!! But not counting on the website for updates i didn't get any at all for the K1 😂 so maybe it will be a surprise in the mail next week 😂

 

Also hoping for a Xmas trip!!!

See I am not the only one hoping for a Xmas trip.  My husband sacrificed a lot to be here for me and I would love to be able to tell him he can go see his family and friends for X-Mas.  If you look back on this thread, I was told to suck it up.  Well it looks like I might not have to suck it up and my husband will get his wish.

I have my fingers and toes crossed for you!!! It's a difficult thing to do moving, I moved over here for my husband but I know I wouldn't change a thing!

Same here, already booked a plane ticket and a hotel to Cabo Mexico for Christmas for my husband’s family reunion.

 

worst comes to worst I’m not gonna join them for trip if I won’t get the EAD and AP before December.. because I have to apply for a Mexican Visa too, Philippines passport holder needs a visa to go to Mexico 😞 

 

theres a rule,  if you are holding a US Visa, any type of US Visa, you don’t have to apply for a Mexico Visa, unfortunately, my k1 visa already expired not sure if they’re gonna acknowledge it, better yet I will just apply for a Mexican visa.

And about that extended vacation  u really are the only one. everyone else is complaining to kingdom come

:))) Maybe. Don't know. I didn't have time in the last 8 years to do anything else, or just sit and do nothing. I was just working a lot. Surly I am looking to go back to work when I have my EAD, but trying to make out as much as I can from this experience by doing other stuff. Also I don't mind being alone or not yet having new friends... maybe I am weird lol

Nah-- I think that's a positive way to look at the whole thing actually. Just think of it like a long vacation.

While checking the ead status in other forums, I noticed the status is moving from ‘case received’ to ‘finger print review completed’ and then ‘new card in production’. Just want to know whether the status always moves to ‘ finger print review completed’ before the actual card production. Because mine still not moved to ‘finger print review completed ‘

When did you get your biometric scan done? You have no timeline information, so we can't really help you.

biometrics- aug 29

sep 6th - status moved to ‘ready to schedule interview’

 

no change after that

My account says the same thing it just says received. I wouldn't worry though as they don't update the website very well and its hit and miss, with my k1 I didn't get any updates at all then just the notification in the mail so I'm hoping that is what happens soon. 

 

Update you timeline to help others with esitmates though 😁
