Hello fellow Julies!

My wife & 12 yr old step-daughter's I-485, I-765, & I-131's were mailed out on July 3, delivered on July 5, and today we received the six NOA1's - all dated July 11 - and when I put the receipt numbers for all six NOA1's into the https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov account we'd set up last week, the USCIS system shows the received date as July 10 for all the forms.

That's standard
Having forms a day/2 days backwards dated seems to be what's happening this day
Doesn't mean anything.
Onwards with progress!!

Hi guys.

We're about to send all our application of AOS, AP, and EAD next week.

I just wanna ask

Did you use the married last name for your wife??

I’ve seen a post from the other thread that they got a RFE because of using married name.

Yes, thank you. I also have my certified copy of marriage license as proof but knowing that only has my birth name on it.

There was no option for new/married name on the marriage paper.... @reyjay

Is that enough right to use my husbands last name. ??

Thanks so much!

Yes, your certified copy of marriage license is your proof to use your husbands last name and you will get your green card with your married name.

I see the Chicago Lockbox is super slow?

I sent the package via USPS to

USCIS
PO Box 805887
Chicago, IL 60680-4120

It is there since yesterday morning 6am, nobody picked it up... I used a priority mail envelope from the USPS office.

So my questions are:

1. The tracking still shows in transit with "Your item arrived at the Post Office at 6:14 am on July 16, 2018 in CHICAGO, IL 60680." Does will change to arrived or something when somebody picks it up?

2. I used priority mail, should have use regular mail?

3. Reading the forum posts in this topic seems like it takes forever to get your case "checked in" and get a NOA1? Or I have the wrong impression?

Thanks

1. Mine stopped updating after that, if I remember correctly

2. I don't think it matters for how quickly they will pick up your case. Priority was probably quicker delivery though = good

3. Yes, for some reason they slowed down in the past two, three weeks. So don't panic if you don't get the NOA1s soon. Unfortunately

1. Mine ended up saying "Package delivered-" So it depends. I wouldn't worry tho

2. Used priority mail. That's pretty much what most people RECOMMEND to use as then you can track it = peace of mine

3. It's taken a bit longer than K1 process. As a timeline, I sent mine last monday July 9. Delivered 7am thurs July 12 and I got e-mails last night July 16th of NOAs
So for you, I'll say give them till thursday/friday to get your e-mail confirmation IF you gave the G-1145 form
