when checking status on the website - would the EAD/AP even update? Our would you just receive them in the mail? 

 

Obviously GC is best - but even w/ the interview I would imagine it takes some time to go through.

There's no time for anything--
Most GC applications are approved within a week of interview. You get the card max 3 weeks from interview (assuming you are approved)
if they issue u an RFE at the interview, then that timeline certainly changes

for the EAD/AP - just like with anything else in immigration, nothing is guaranteed to update on website/app
If you are approved, everything will come via letter. So a letter in the mail is the sure way to know what's ur case status with immigration

I'm a July filer too (2nd July) my case says interview ready to be scheduled, I'm in Massachusetts will my field office be Boston? I'm hoping I hear something soon! Anyone got any experience on how long the wait might be? 

Going mad not working 😵

How long everything is depends on that field office.

Boston filer too, and I just got an email with interview sheduled but no dates. Have you gotten the paper notice ? Does that have dates and details ?

The paper mail is not here yet but I think it will be delivered by tomorrow or Saturday assuming they sent it forth when they scheduled

Just throwing this out there! Considering most of us have plenty of free time while we wait for ead/app and GC... anyone in NYC area want to do a meetup? It would be nice to make some friends in the area!

Hey @Kels00 we got notice for sept 5 biometrics that they received it and updated sept 6 on uscis website. They got the travel packet on july 30, and stated sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. I didn't get any paperwork in snail mail yet. Did you get anything in mail?

He last mail i got was biometrics appointment. Expecting interview appointment mail this week

I got an RFE 30 days ago which I replied to 14 business days ago... my status hasn’t changed but they’ve confirmed my application has “resumed”... does anyone know how long after An RFE things change?

It could be 1 day- it could be 2 months
Be patient. Since they confirmed receipt, it's only a matter of time now

Seriously this process is so boring.  I mean K1 was no walk in the park but i feel like people were more active on VJ during K1.  lol

Hey, I'm around. I just comment on other posts or sigh at the people who are STILL entitled about their K-1 visas. At least the entitlement has mostly gone by this point.

I had the same thought this morning, how I felt a part of a community while going through the K1 process. The AOS process is a lot different and less of a community feel.  Guess people are business living life.
