There's no such thing as a status change-
Some will get it, others will not until like an interview letter magically appears on their mailbox.

So I wouldn't necessary worry about app updates.

I have seen tho that for those that DO get an update, expect it between a week - 1 month after biometrics

Does anybody here received an RFE? I checked my online status and they said that they sent the RFE on august 3rd and until today I haven’t received it (mail) yet 😢

Done with Biometrics earlier.

Mail takes up to 10 days to arrive after it is mailed (yes- USCIS still uses the slowest mail known to man)
So give them till weekend. If nothing then, consider calling them

Hey everyone! I applied for AOS July 14th, I received an RFE for tax documents (I guess we missed something) so we’re sending in transcripts. My question is: do I need to write anything on the outside of the envelope to say what’s inside? I’m including the RFE letter inside.

Perfect two - did you original receive a initial RFE - then it just magically changed to this? (am dreaming i have a similar situation haha)

Also curious if anyone is NYC based? We got a initial RFE on the I-485 and I'm worried that with the long processing times for AOS in NYC that our related EAD/AP will be further delayed. My understanding is that the processing clock passes for EAD/AP when the underlying AOS filing has an initial RFE, although id love to see if this is accurate.

Receipt date on 797c for AOS/EAD/AP -                                                             7/20/18

Biometrics Appointment scheduled for -                                                             8/21/18

Notice of request for initial information (per website/mail hasn't arrived) -  8/10/18

Such a long, frustrating process! My wife just wants the ability to work and visit her folks and sister!

I'm not sure about that. I have my biometric on August 9 and my status change yesterday.

Thank you so much! I still can't believe it. Just had my biometric appointment last week! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Glad to hear that they are working at Blistering Speed! I'm so nervous, because I never expect it to be this early and I feel like might have something wrong with it.

I'm now quoting myself but the RFE was for a birth certificate - which as others have noted is super frustrating because it was already provided in the original package.

Actually, I didn't check my status frequent. So, I'm not sure what is my status before. My biometric appointment is last week, August 9. After the biometric appointment, my status change to biometric was successful or something like that. I didn't check my status until yesterday. Yeah, ability to work is the first thing I want! It is frustrating just staying at home. Especially when you get used to work
