You are right! I paid the whole amount of fee 1225$. I've heard that this can happen sometimes, but it is really frustrating that I need to waste my time because of their mistake. I'm going to submit again tomorrow. But I guess I won't get the combo card for both EAD and AP. That's unfortunate. I am trying to be optimistic cuz at least I have my I-485 and I-765 processed. :) Wish you all good luck guys. Thanks for the reply.

Yep
Reminds me of the good ol' days of getting an RFE for something already submitted.

It's part of the process. And it sucks

Really sorry it happened to you!

But good news is that the GC trumps AP so since that's being processed accordingly, everything else shall fall into place.
Good luck!

Yep! I know what you mean cuz generally I was waiting for my NOA2 for k1 visa for a year and a half. So they can't scare me anymore 🤣🤣 Thank you!

My husband is also applying from Northern VA we had biometrics on July 31st! Just waiting now :)

Awesome! We were feeling kinda lonely in this area. We thought we were the only ones! Did you go to the Alexandria office? Hoping to do a walk in this week.

Okay... biometrics done.  It was very easy.  Walked in, filled out some form (my husband was very upset that they changed his hair color to brown when it's clearly SANDY)  LMFAO.  After his picture and prints were taken, they had him press a survey button.  As my husband walked out the woman called him back and told him to press the bad, good, or excellent button.  My husband yelled out EXCELLENT and she smiled.  My husband proceeded to tell me that it was bad but didn't want her to lose his paperwork "by accident."  LOL

Hope I made some of you laugh.  I think that the best thing to do while we patiently wait is laugh and enjoy this ride.  Happy Tuesday all.

Oh and we also went to Social Security office since we had some time.  We applied for his on July 10 and had heard nothing.  (he was sent for manual verification).  Well, when we went yesterday the man did a lot of typing and clicking.  He said that it appeared he had not been verified but was able to do it right then.  I would love to know where my husband's application was for five weeks but whatever.  He told us he should get his card in the next few days.

For anyone whose application was sent for manual verification and have not heard anything after five weeks, just walk in and ask them about the status.

Hello everyone.

Package sent July 12

Received July 16

NOA for 2 of them ( I-485 and I-765 accepted, I-139 rejected with no reason) August 1st

Biometrics appointment  - August 20

So I was rejected for Advance Parole with no reason. I got a rejection notice saying that the payment was incomplete or has not been provided. Funny, cuz we all know that for EAD an AP we need no additional payment if we submit the applications with I-485. I called and they said there must have been a mistake and I need to resubmit the application with the copy of  I-485 notice of action.

Anyway, I am happy that I have at lease some movement in my case. Wish you all good luck.

I didn't know if you file the three forms combine, you'll only have to pay for 1-485. Thanks and good luck.

Yeah! That's the whole point of filing them together cuz you don't have to pay any additional fee. Thank you and good luck to you too : )

Just finished up our biometrics. We did our walk in a week early. No questions asked. It was so easy and quick I felt like we were missing something.

Same experience as the others. Came in, filled out a form, took picture and fingerprints, answered a customer service survey. In and out in 25 minutes.

The next wait continues.

We’re at the DMV now trying to get an ID card. Fingers crossed as our 1-94 is expired. Didn’t find out that it had to be within 30 days of expiring until last week. But no harm in trying. Wish us luck. None of the clerks look like they’re in the mood to do any favors. Lol

I'm totally confuse now. I check my AOS status, it stated "Interview was scheduled". Anyone know what is that mean?

Really? That is weird. I just file it on July 6. Is that means I don't have to worry about RFE now?
