Hi folks. My Sponsor made a mistake in the contact address on I-864 form, typed the wrong state. Will it affect the application or do we need to make online change of address to correct it? Thanks for your advice.

Hello! I hope that everyone is adjusting into the u.s nicely! I'm currently working on my AOS package.

I just want to clarify what everyone put down for #20 on I-765, would it be (a)(6) or (c)(9)? Any help would be much appreciated!

Cheers!

C9 😊

The I-864 is your affidavit
That's not a change in address- a change in address deals with the petitioner which your sponsor is not.

Worst case scenario, an RFE
But otherwise, that is so small I doubt it makes much of a difference

Hi Everyone! The AOS/AP/EAD packet was delivered on Monday 9 July in Chicago for my husband.  He is from Costa Rica and we were married 15 December 2016.  We were here on a visit to my family when plans changed and so we have decided to stay.  He is adjusting from B-2.  No checks cashed yet, just waiting, but its only been 3 days. Can't wait to see how quickly/slowly this goes.

Hi guys!

It's 11:27 here and we just got our NOA1 email!

According to our reciept number, they listed our NOA1 date as 6 July.

I also got my email and text of the NOA at 11:20 last night. It shows they received my case on July-5 but USPS said it was delivered on July-6 so I am happy they assigned my priority date 1 day earlier.

I am excited that they accepted my apps. Good luck to everyone else.

Hi hi!
Yes I did!

I think technically if you plan to change your name, you should do your AOS in your married name
There is a place in there to put in a maiden name so am sure it's fine!

Cheers to us waiting again:)

Awesome! Cheers! 😄

I put (C)(9) :)

Hi all.

Just filed my i485 packet today with i765 and i131.

We are k1 filing for AOS after getting married on 07/03.

For i765 Q20 I put (a)(6) but reading your comments above I think I should've put (c)(9)...?

Can anyone advise if this can be corrected - should I just resubmit my i765 when I get my NOA 1 for the i485?

Did so much work prepping & checking documents I'm hoping I can resolve.

Thanks!
