Thank you for the compliment. I love doing paper craft because it is lower cost and in the same time it take time to finish it. So, it is perfect for long waiting like this.

Oh wow, it's sound fun! Did you have driving license? I didn't have one yet, so i can only do something at home. A bit bored actually :clock:

Sorry to hear that you are bored. I have my European driver's license so I am using that for  now.... Will be out of town in August, but after that I will try to get a local drivers license.  Will see if they give one or not :) Theoretically I can get one in Missouri while adjusting status so will see how that will go in real life...

can we take class while waiting? If possible I want to attend real estate class and sit for exam to get real estate license

I don't know that... Worth a try to explore your options. In theory you can attend any class you want.. Not completely sure, maybe somebody can tell who is going to attend school from this fall... You just need to meet the criteria to get into an institution and pay for the course if it's not free...

Hi. What are the requirements for Biometric. I plan to renew my passport right after sending out AOS packet. Will they need my passport for Biometric? I worry I don't have other ID to present. Thank you

Hi,

I do think you need a valid passport.

ASC wants a valid Government ID.

Your Biometric letter will provide with instruction.

Good luck.

Hey guys. Hope you are all doing fine. I sent my AOS in 12 of July and it was received in 16th. So far no e-mail or sms or  NOA but I just checked and the money (1225$) was transferred form my bank account from USCIS. Has anyone got the same case? I mean as far as I know they should send the e-notification that they got my case and then only transfer the money.

Thank you :)

What do you mean by a courtesy letter?
What exactly did your letter say?

Because I never heard of a "courtesy" letter

I did not submit Medical with my application so they sent me a Courtesy letter to bring the Medical to my interview or when they request for it.

Okay.
That's what you mean

That happens all the time. Your medical must be within a year or you need a new one

My husband had his biometrics done yesterday and it was quick and easy! That being said, we live in Montana and the USCIS isn’t too busy so we’re very lucky. Our appointment was scheduled 2 weeks after our noa1 for July 13, which surprised me! All he needed was his passport and it took less than 20 minutes. I hope everyone has a good experience and gets your appointment letter soon! Just move to Montana where not a lot happens 😂😂😂

Met 4/19/12, Engaged 8/15/2016, Married sometime in 2018!

Sent I-129F: 7/24/2017

NOA1: 7/27/2017

NOA2: 2/6/2018

I can't wait to be Mrs. Hook!

I'm a June filer too, nice to see you. :)

You should be getting your letter any day now. Best of luck!

Hey! I remember you! Nice to have someone I’m familiar with! Good luck to you also.

I can see that your appointment was today. How did it go?

It was quick and painless, in and out.  Hand over ID (passport) fill out short biographical data form, then fingerprints, then done.

Maybe ten minutes total.

Hi everyone!

Glad to hear most people are getting their NOA1s and responses quickly!

I mailed on 12 July (2 Day USPS) and discovered that night that I had wrong info on i765 (wrong category). At 8am on 13 July I submitted an intercept request via USPS to get the packet back. I figured if I could correct it, it would be best.

USPS stopped updating tracking of my package at 10am on July 14th and it still says it is at Chicago Post Office. Have been trying to find out what the status is/ if the package was intercepted, but no surprise, despite lots of helpful people at the PO here no-one can tell me any information.

I have re-prepared the packet & today we should find out from my Husband's bank if Money Order has been cashed since we don't know if the packet made it or is just sitting in a bin in Chicago Post Office.

Long story short, having seen some of you we waiting 21 - 28 days since mailing to even receive e-notification I am wondering should I wait one more week before canceling Money order & resubmitting or just go again. I'm not sure if anyone has had any experience with this but am looking to know people's thoughts?

Thanks!

We cancelled the check and starting fresh, we'll be Aug filers.

Best of luck to all the July Filers!
