PD 07/16/18. Had my interview in the San Jose office on 09/0619, still no answer. I submitted an inquiry and they said they’re “still reviewing my case” 🙄

Hi, I'm having my first AOS interview in 2 weeks at the San Jose Office. How long did you have wait after the interview to hear anything from your case? I'm nervous because we booked a trip in January and I'm worried about how long this process takes and if there's a "second interview" involved..

I was approved exactly 8 weeks after my interview. If you’re K1 you’ll be approved probably the same day. I’m not and I think that’s why it took longer.

They told my husband he was approved the day of the interview.  He received his GC roughly 7 days later.  Good luck :)

Thank you for the response. I have a question about the bank account situation when going to the interview. I have several accounts and only one joint account. Is it necessary to change all my accounts to joint accounts?

You don't have to show them all of your accounts.  Just show them your joint account.
