NEW CARD BEING PRODUCED!!!!!!!!!!!  Waaaa... finally this ordeal is ovaaaaahhhh!!! I was so nervous coz the officer interviewing us was so serious. I got a couple dates mixed up too. He also did not approve us on the spot (which, my lawyer said, is very common but of course I was still high key freaking out lol). But I am so happy this is done! Thank you, JULY 2018 group!!! Hope to see you all in a couple of years. For those waiting for their interviews, good luck!! If anyone has specific  questions about how our experience was, just ask away and I’m more than happy to help. 😊

Just been approved for our green card!

Went through the yes / no questions then asked us when we got married, our address, my full name and then if we have any other documents we want to submit. We gave in new pictures, new utilities since our AOS file and the newest tax returns and W2s. But they didn't actually ask us for anything specific. Approved on the spot and my case status has now changed to card in production already!

Good luck to everyone else! See everyone in two years time! :)

Today is a good/bad day - I got my Interview Notice but they haven't updated me somewhere from moving from Tennessee to California. so the interview is for stupid o clock in Nashville. so looks like I need to spend too much time on the phone on monday to see if I can get this worked out. I just want this done (as i'm sure we all do)

Hey Girl
When I moved, I didn't get a change for the interview date-- but that was because I ONLY got the "your interview is ready to be scheduled" after I moved.

Maybe Jackie @Jaquelly knows? She just moved recently too.

Didn't get anything :(

Hi, is there anyone who live in San Jose, California but have interview date? It is so frustrating that My NOA1 is July 8 but I still do not get any mail for interview. My case status is Ready for Interview from last August, but I dont see any update from them. It makes me so sick since I need a green card to acquire in-state tuition.

Check the san Jose timeline on VJ
Also search around on the forum - I believe San Jose has a group of it's own
It's not unusual that you have not heard yet. A check by local office seems to say that June filers are currently getting interviews? But it's all over the place. So you might be looking at another month or more.

Still nothing. Honestly, it's not a big deal at this rate. We forget we're waiting. But this is taking a long time. What can I do?

Hi Jackie!!
Well before you "do" something, are you within your new place's timeline?
I know some places take almost two years!! So unless you're like 5+ months outside of timeline, I doubt anyone can help with anything.
Use VJ'ers- not whatever USCIS posts. Link is here if you want: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/aoslist.php?cfl=&op5=5,6,8,9,10,11
Search by the local office.

If you're well outside of times, congressman?
I don't really know how one can speed up GC, if at all.
Hang in there. It surely will end soon

Anyone who got their NOA1 near our date (Aug 9 2018) seems to have gone through.

This sucks. I feel like we are the last ones. :(
