I just dont get it how they couldnt request everything upfront.... I was prepared for the interview, she wasn't I guess :))

 

ahh and she gave back a bunch of photocopies we submitted with EAP and AP. She said we don't need to submit three sets of copies for everything :)) Maybe I overdid that :))))

 

 

LOL - always better safe than sorry with immigration. 
I only made duplicate copies of like the I-94 but things like marriage certificate, I did one for the whole packet. I did do a cover page so hopefully they found all the stuff they needed.

And yes- am a bit shocked she doesn't have the file. Like how exactly did she think she was gonna do that interview? lol
That's the whole reason this process takes aeons! NBC was supposed to give it to local office. Unless someone misplaced it- smh

Yeah, the only thing is I hope they didn't lose my medical cuz I paid $180 for that....

 

Since I am working and don't need to wait for that I think a few more weeks of waiting is fine unless they RFE for something.

 

She had the application, the affidavit and some more because the file she had looked thick... She also mentioned that this is a temporary file or something like that....

After the interview my status changed to Initial Review. 

The IO told me that she didn't receive some of my files including my medical and divorce decree and she needs to request them from Kansas. Probably it won't help you, but this status might mean a lot of things depending on the individual case. 

Hope they won't sit on your case for 120 days.

The lady was nice and she was happy that we had an application well put together...

 

Bad news she was missing half of our paperwork including my medical, divorce paperwork and so on.

She needs to request those and if something is still missing we will get an RFE....

Probably it will take a few more weeks to hear something

 

 

Hope others had a better experience for their interviews today!

our interview today went well..  although they lost 1 page on our papers, but the guy who interview us really nice and he print something..worried coz i don't have extra copy on it lol.. took an hour and asking about us, where we meet, where he propose blah blah.... and also ask when we get married.. we don't enough joint like bills ect. under our name... all we have is.. itr,phone bill, cards that address to our name and a lot of pictured.. i think he get 15 pcs. from the day we meet, place we visit in phil. christmas picture here with family and friends, honeymoon ect. and he said.. APPROVED and grant us 10 years gc. coz we married almost 2 years before we send our papers...

This is the standard response for Baltimore. I had the same response. I think the interview went well the IO didnt ask that many questions. A couple of people that I know are still waiting for their decisions as well, one of them has been waiting for 8 months. I guess Baltimore is just super backlogged.

Got the notice this afternoon that USPS picked up her green card, and we got the tracking number. Should be here by Monday
