Does page 1 of 2 mean that it is a RFE? Those are coming in the mail today and while I am excited, I am also VERY nervous.

Also, it is worth noting, we did NOT get a text message or email about the update to our case. This is just coming in the mail.

It is the work permit's approval letter. It also details the Advanced Parole stuff, that's why it is two pages

Just checked the old website (egov) in the slim hopes that they updated and it’s still the same message from July 2018. 😔😔😔 Hope they just surprise me with a letter like y’all. 😭😭😭

Update! My EAD/AP case was updated to card being picked up by usps. I have a question though, does it mean I can work with any employers? Do I need to report my employer info to USCIS? Just wondering if its the same as the OPT/CPT.

Anybody know what the requirements are for renewal of license in Texas once you get your EAD? Already looked it up, but I wanna see how y'alls experience was!

GUYSSSS!!! Ok so be careful what you wish for coz in my last post I said I checked the old website and the status was still “Case Received,” and I was like wishing that they just sent me my EAD in the mail without updating. WELL I GOT HOME LATE AND CHECKED MY MAILBOX AND GUESS WHAT WAS IN THERE??? MY FREAKING EAD APPROVAL LETTER! Approved on 11/29! I do not trust both USCIS websites now! Also, the expected date of adjudication here on VJ and USCIS’ date range is pretty accurate, in my experience. I am so freaking happy, I can FINALLY get something for my hubby’s birthday next month. Thank you so much to everyone here for being a great source, being an inspiration, and being patient. Now the wait for AOS interview begins, but for now I’m gonna savor this and enjoy the holidays. 🎄 We gonna hit the ground running in 2019! 🤗  I wish the best for y’all! 😘😘😘

You can work with whomever you want. Also you can mention when you talk with the HR person/headhunter that you are not requiring any employer sponsorship from them now or in the future.

 

Also there are jobs which require security clearance. Unfortunately we can't do those jobs.... And if I am not mistaken not even after getting the green card.....
