July 2018 AOS Filers

AOS/AP/EAD packaged delivered last July 12, but we still haven't received any notifs yet. still within the 10 Day period, but I'm already worried lol we'll call USCIS after the 10 day period. Anyone else experiencing this or within my timeline?

My application packet was delivered July 12th and still no update. The wait is killing 🤦‍♂️

You’ll be fine without SSN. Like you said, you can get your SSN once you have your EAD with an expired I94.

Is there a link someone can share or does anyone know exactly how this process works?  IE... our packet goes to Chicago but what exactly is done there?  When does our packet go to our local USCIS office?  Just pure curiosity.  Not a pressing question.

 well you're not alone lol.. mine send july 3 never recieve notice yet lol.. they said when i call normally 21 days ugh.. but why other just a week..

At Chicago, NBC takes the case and looks at it
They then appoint you a biometrics appt
They review the case. once the case looks good/no RFEs, then they send it down to your local office for interviewing

This is where the timeline for many vary- because if you have a busy office like me, you are waiting 12+ months compared to those in like Montana and Raleigh NC who can have interviews in like 3-5 months after applying.

I'm a little nervous. There's a letter for my husband coming in from USCIS today in the post. I can't tell what it is.  We already got all of our NOA1. Ugh.
