Work/Travel Permit Processing time?

Hope this is in the right category! I had my Biometrics appointment on April 17th this year and am currently awaiting for the Work Authorisation and Travel Document. How long have other people had to wait for theirs? My status when checking my Receipt Number has pretty much said as of April 23rd, we are ready to schedule your case for an interview and that's it.

From what I've seen, they seem to be running around six months right now. Your case status won't be updated until they schedule an appointment a long time from now.

Submitted papers in December - had my Biometrics Jan 4th, and received the card May 14th. About a 4 month wait.

 

Above is correct in that you do not get your status updated until the card is being sent to you in the mail. I had received a notice confirming its approval via snail mail before I ever saw it change online. :P
