I have not heard anything yet. But based on @tEe328cEe's timeline, I am hoping to hear back in approximately a week or two max. In any case, I'll update you all here as soon as I get any notifications or letters.

Went to the SJ field office to ask if I'm being processed by SJ or SF, turns out I was being processed by SF since my local address was closest to SF at the time of filing. Asked if I could be changed to SJ field office since I live here again and she made the change. Got an email saying my case has switched field offices today morning, curious if I'll get an interview scheduled within the next few weeks or if I'll be put at the back of the queue since I applied January and got my biometrics all the way back in February.

They recently posted an update regarding interview letter in the N-400 March 2018 Filers group. Based on that, they applied  3/1/18, did biometrics on  3/23/18, and have the interview scheduled for  10/15/18.

 

I would take their permission before adding them to the tracker, though.

Oh nice, good that you got some answers. And based on the notification it seems the transfer was nice and quick, too! Hopefully you are processed soon now. Did you ask the officer about whether you'll be at the back of the queue or processed according to date filed?

Yeah I asked, the agent made it sound like I wouldn't be placed at the end of the queue or start as if I'd applied for citizenship yesterday, but she also said that my file was still with National Benefits Center and that they hadn't scheduled the interview yet. I always thought that the local field office is the one who schedules the interview, so I'm not sure if I'm stuck in some backlog or if it'll just take a few weeks now that the case has been transferred to the right field office.

Oh actually I have heard that too. That NBC schedules interviews. So that's probably why the transfer was quick! I guess they schedule the interview and send your file to the relevant office when the time comes.

So does the NBC only schedule interviews for the particular field office when there's an opening there? I saw SF's processing time and people in that thread who applied in Nov 2017 are just not getting dates for interviews, whereas people who filed in January/February 2018 have already had their interview dates. It seems like SJ is ahead of SF by a fair amount, so I'm just gonna guess that the NBC basically schedules the interview but does it based on the particular field office's availability.

Oh, so finally you got your oath ceremony date, CONGRATS. That gives me some hope that maybe I will part of the November date. 

Do they send the letter in the mail or online? Does I-751 status get updated after all?
