I’ve just call them and they told

me that they received my request for police certificate online. I can check status of my request online and certificate will be ready in 30 days (but due to their statistics it will be ready in 10-15 days).

About price - it’s free, I just have to wait and then pick up it in their service center.

I did it the easy way haha, also don't like waiting :)

Plus if my petition gets approved in the next few days, 30 days of waiting might be too long (looks like it takes about 24 days for the embassy to receive the docs) and I'm fully planning to book the interview the second my docs arrive!

I still have more than month till NOA2 unfortunately 😑  that’s why I ordered it online. I describe my experience because I thought maybe it would be useful for someone who is still waiting.

24 days till you will be able to schedule the interview. And then a week till you will receive your passport with visa. So you will have visa approximately in 1,5 months after NOA2?

I need USCIS’s approval asap 😭 I don’t want to cancel my plans 😭

we have already started planning our wedding and my biggest fear that I would be able to be there in time 😭

I had the same fear. We were going to do it on Sep 29th but realized it's too optimistic - if we get RFE or there's anyyyy delay I'll miss my wedding lol

We set it for November 17th, but we will sign the papers right after I arrive. That way we can start all the paperwork early but have a proper party without having to worry about me not making it on time. We're doing it in Vegas

We booked a package where they take care of everything for us! Because when we started thinking about doing it at a friend's ranch and realized how much work it is, there was no better plan than Vegas hahah

1. 1 year (the same information is written on US embassy’s web site).

2. We plan wedding on November, 2nd.

I’m praying I will be able to be there in time 🙏🏻  (Due to dates: 02/16/18 - old web site; 02/20/18 - new web site)

We will get married in church (do you know guy that it’s required to have a premarital counseling before they allow to marry) and then will have a reception.

im going to live in North Carolina.

What about your plans?

The weight of each box was between 11-13 kg and I paid for each 80$-90$.

it was surprisingly super easy and super fast, you can fill all nessasery form online on ukrposha’s website and you will receive 5% discount 😎 I was concerned to use ukrposhta services due to my last experience - I sent documents for our petition on January, 5 and my letter was delivered in 2,5 months after we had already sent the Petition (I just re-sent my documents via DHL). But the delay was due to holidays I think.

Btw I sent the last small box (7th) last week and it’s writen i

on USPS’s web site that it’s in North Carolina so I suppose it will be delivered tomorrow or on tuesday (again super fast).

can u let me know when the package arrives?

They have already been delivered.

I sent:

4 parcels on June, 25 (at 8 p.m) and they were delivered on July, 5 (11 a.m). 10 days

the next 2 parcels were sent on June, 27 (at 8 p.m) and were delivered on July, 7 (morning hours). Again 10 days

I sent my last parcel on July, 9 (again evening 8 p.m) and it was delivered yesterday. 9 days

Some churches require this, as a condition of using the facilities and getting a sanctioned marriage, because they want you to be active in the church after the marriage.

You will like Chapel Hill it is a nice city and there are lots of things to do in the triangle.  Two Ukrainian ladies have a grocery store in the the neighboring city of Raleigh.

It seems kind of risky to schedule wedding before approval, especially with that kind of window.

You are totally right, we set up our date before the process was slow down. Due to previous statistics usually it took 5 months to finish the process, but everything was changed 😭

Anyway, I still believe we have good chances to get our approval as it was predicted on this web site 😊

I’m trying to stay positive and finish all preparation and some paper work in advance 😁 so I’ll be able to fly next day after I’ll have my visa in hands

I sent my cloths, shoes, handbags, backpacks, some accessories, a lot of chocolate (and when I’m saying a lot I do really mean a lot), leather jewelry box, wedding invitations, leather wallets, topper for a cake and other stuff like this.

I prepared very detailed description but they told me that I should divide all stuff in 4 groups for each parcel and there was no need to waste time writing that detailed description. Notice that the cost of each parcel should be less than 150€. If it’s higher you are obligated to pay extra taxes (Ukrainian law).

Could anyone give any advices about medical vaccination certificate?

i know that it isn’t an obligatory requirement for K-1, but everyone advices to make the one here in Ukraine (it’s easier and cheaper). It will be needed for a green card.

I have my child’s certificate but I know that some vaccines have “expire date”. I’m curious where I can get this certificate and where I can be re-vaccinated?

Please share your experience!
