You can provide one, but it will not be a consideration if they get the visa or not. From the DOS directly:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/tourism-visit/visitor.html

"Note: Visa applicants must qualify on the basis of the applicant's residence and ties abroad, rather than assurances from U.S. family and friends. A letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support is not needed to apply for a visitor visa. If you choose to bring a letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support to your interview, please remember it is not one of the factors used in determining whether to issue or deny the visa. "

I'm not familiar with this kind of medical visa but embassy will probably want to know if the treatment they need can be received in their home country or not. Both of the parents need treatment? Short term? Long term?  Wishing you the best.

Posted

Do both parents need treatment?

They would have to show the treatment is not available in Egypt and the length and cost.

Are these the same parents as described in your thread last month?

Do they intend to immigrate or only visit? Your past posts imply they intend to immigrate to the US.

Good catch. One thread on immigration, one on tourist visas and now “treatment”... hmmm

Seriously? Your husband could’ve had the NOA1s by now had he actually thought this through and sent in I-130s for parents back in May instead of now trying to weasel a way for parents to come on tourist visas.

If you don't have time to apply then you're out of luck. Honestly? There is nothing fast about immigration.

If you expect people to give you advices on how to skip the line and cheat the immigration system then please.. don't be so disrespectful to all people who do things the right way.

Either file i130 for the parents and wait the year or please stop bothering people about invitation letters (which don't do anything ) or how to bring parents on torusit visa or fake medical treatments.

No one want to help with fraud.

You started posting in this forum asking for immigration visas for in-laws. Then you realized it's actual effort and time to bring relatives and you changed your question to how to apply for torusit visa for them. And now you're coming up with some medical excuses. I hope this thread will close.

Op, for us to advice you properly, we need to know what exactly you are trying to do. Have the parents immigrate?  Have them come here for a fun visit?  Medical reasons and if so, who will pay for treatment?

There are many cheaper options than the US, one of the things to explain, which parent is it that needs treatment and what for?

Sounds very similar to the treatment you get in the US.

Presumably you have investigated the cost of care in the US?

Dementia or Alzheimer's are very difficult to diagnose no matter where you live. If your father inlaw is suffering from either of those taking him to the US is a terrible idea. Nothing will be what he is familiar with, the food, the language, the outdoors, nothing is. If he is as bad as you describe he needs around the clock care. Dementia patients can turn violent, and when he goes back to older memories and nothing is the same he could act out. Look into finding a better doctor and long term care where they live. You will not be able to take care of him alone at home for long. You and your husband need to sleep, around the clock care will be needed sooner then later. He will need to be placed in a home and that will cost.

As mentioned the cost of health insurance is something to look at. There is a recent thread on here where they CO asked for proof the petitioner could afford his fathers medical expenses and health insurance.
