Jamaica is  non pivot and it takes non pivot cases 9-10weeks to get their welcome letter.

After 8weeks,you call and an agent will escalate your case to a supervisor to assign a case/Invoice number which will take another one to two weeks

Thank you. I appreciate your response

Same thing we did. My husband/petitioner wrote his name/signature and date on the aos with a black pen

My husband only signed his signature with a black pen the rest is printed.he printed out two copies and signed on the both, sent out one to NVC and sent out one to me.i just hope the fact that he didn’t write his name and mine with a pen won’t be a problem.so the one i have is the same one NVC has

Oh.. it was a mistake on your part.

Birth cert is suppose to be obtained from city/country of birth and not city/country of residence.

Try to send it immediately

Please has any one gone for interview in Lagos or anyoda embassy with a printed AOS?as in printed names instead of written names and signature with a pen without having any problems?

Handwritten/printed is fine. Provided the signature was signed by the petitioner/sponsor.

Seems you are over thinking it lol

Hi Abies, something I can't work out from the Travel State website is whether or not when going to the interview I will need the original copy of the I-864 Affidavit Of Support or will a photocopy be OK?
