Hi guys! Today I got my case number. NVC received my file from USCIS on 6/22 for reference.

 

I just paid the AOS/IV fee on CEAC. I noticed a lot of your timelines have the AOS and IV fee received days staggered by a day or two. Can anyone explain why?

 

Also, after I upload all my documents in a few days, the next step is Case Complete right?

The reason is your country is pivot that is why you were able to pay AOS and IV fees at the same time. With Non pivot you pay AOS fee first then 2 or 3 days later you pay IV fee. When IV fee says paid your next step is fill out DS 260 form. After you upload all documents the next step is case complete. Best of luck to you

strange! im non-pivot and after getting a case number on monday, today that i got my welcome letter i logged i was able to payy AOS and IV fee at the same time. This is all so confusing but at least we're getting close to the end

You were able to pay both fees at the same time was because NVC automatically chose your lawyer as your choice of agent for you and that was why you didn't have access to ds261.

You were lucky to be able to pay both fees at the same time. I was unable to do that. Wish you the best
