Congrats to all getting invoices, case numbers and case complete.

I have a quick question...my approved I130 was sent to DOS on July 2nd and after calling was told it was received on July 9th and should wait about 8 weeks to contact them again for case number and invoice. However, I am a bit confused, someone mentioned that you don't start the 8 weeks count until they scan your documents in (the approved petition) is this correct? or the 8 weeks starts once the petition is received?

Thanks...hope I did not confuse anyone...

The 8 weeks starts on the day NVC received your petition from USCIS. Wish you the best

In my case, i did not got any welcome letter but only my case number and invoice # which was emailed to me. I called NVC why I didn't get any letter, and they also wondered why.

They said as long as I was able to log in and pay then it's legit. Did any one had the same case as ours? The email was from "National_Visa_Center@state.gov". which is uncommon to me because usually it's simply "NVC@state.gov".

I also received just the email from National_Visa_Center@state.gov. I am not worry about that. If the number worked you are fine. Just focus on paying the fees and moving on without process.

Your case is pivot the same as mine, maybe pivot case are now being mailed by National_Visa_Center@state.gov.

Thanks, it's good to know I am not alone! :)

I emailed NVC just now about this, but we already started paying the fees. hopefully by 1st week of August we submit all the documents.

Is your case also required to upload and submit all documents in CEAC?

InshaAllah very soon.😊

I have got this email

"The National Visa Center (NVC) received all of the fees, forms, and documents that are required prior to attending an immigrant visa interview at a U.S. Embassy/Consulate General overseas.

NVC will work with the U.S. Embassy/Consulate General in ISLAMABAD, PKST to schedule an interview appointment for you. Once we have confirmed an interview date, we will send a notice to you, your petitioner and attorney (if applicable)."

Have you got the similar one ?

I will wait for your update.

When you upload Civil documents, did you include passport photos of Beneficiary and photos with petitioner?

Hey ,you don't need to upload petitioner's passport photos online on CEAC just upload principal applicant's photos. You can find about photo requirements on NVC website.
