Sure, go ahead with both payments! No problem here.

On timing: officially, it should take 20 business days to review submitted documents, but normally takes less (around 2 weeks).

Please be super careful with your scans, it should be clear to read and in vertical position.

Our case got a check list because my husband was playing with pdf compression too much and pdf was blurry.

Interview schedule is hard to predict, very much depends on your country and embassy availability.

For Russia it’s approx 2 months between case complete to interview.

Hello!

I have a question with attaching documents.

Did you need to attach the document cover sheet when submitting docs for AOS And IV?

and also, how did you submit the documents, did you submit both AOS And IV at the same time?

Our is also CEAC processing, we did not receive any packets or whatsoever. Did the same thing happen to you?

Hi everyone I checked my Case Status a few minutes ago and it said " At NVC" so I called to confirm and the lady over the phone confirmed that we had a CC! Sooo happy :D She said i'd get an email sometime this week and that they will start scheduling interviews for September at the beginning of August.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you. One more step done :jest:

If you are making an online case, you will not have to send a cover letter. Everything will be online, without packages.

Once they accept payment of their fees, simply go ahead and fill in the ds-260. In addition, you must obtain all the civil and AOS documents that they request on the network.

Good luck! :D

We sent the IV first because we were still waiting the documents of our joint sponsor. But if you have all ready, you can upload all the documents online and submit both at the same time.
You are going to be fine. At first all seens a bit overwhelming. Just do one step per time and you will be fine! ;)

Looking at your timeline your case has moved fast through the NVC, do you think that's cause you're a pivot country?

Yes, at least at the NVC We have been lucky.
I think so! I just waited 3 weeks for a case and invoice number. Being pivot definately helped. ^_^

I just called NVC. They said just follow the instructions based on the website even if the links are available and open to submissions.

Yes it is pretty overwhelming! I hope we get this all in a correct and proper manner so it won't get delayed.
I see that you submitted all your documents in CEAC, right? Goodluck with you as well. :) Please update Us with your status, ty.

Hi Wynona,

For my understanding: at what stage are you at? Did you do the payments?

So after you got an e-mail with you Case Number and Invoice Number, and you are PIVOT, you are able to pay both AoS and IV fees (stage #1
Then (stage#2) you wait few business days and after payments are processes (that you can see on CEAC portal) you do the following:

- upload AOS documents (both can do it, either petitioner or beneficiary): I-864, Tax Returns and W2
- fill out DS 260 (beneficiary, though petitioner also can do it, but it adds complexity in my opinion)
- upload IV documents (beneficiary or petitioner); it will be mentioned what to upload:

  • bio page of your passport
  • photo (a passport view photo, with certain requirements)
  • Marriage Certificate
  • Birth Certificate
  • Police Certificate

You can add Additional Documents, e.g. Divorce Certificate (if applicable), some evidence of the relationship (some people do it, some don't), etc

CEAC is user friendly, you'll figure it out!

After - the hardest stage#3 - patiently waiting for the review.
