Hi everyone,

 

My case is also at NVC Stage. We just made AOS and IV payment (pivot case). Our payment status is currently "processing". Wondering if anyone can go ahead with the AOS package while waiting for payments to be completed? It says "start now" on the CEAC page, but the function is being disabled.

Hi, does anyone know the average time to receive a case number for Mumbai, India? My petition was received by NVC on May 16th and yesterday it passed 8 weeks mark.  I called NVC today and they have sent it to supervisor. Thanks

Just an update on my case: I called NVC this morning and my mom's interview was set on August 17th. Hallelujiah! Non pivot. MNL, PH. Hang in there people. This madness will end soon!

Mumbai is a non pivot consulate currently it is taking over 8 weeks.You can expect your case number in the week 9.

Hi... NVC received my case on May 10th... I got my case number exactly at 8 weeks 6days... Call them twice daily and make sure they escalate your case to the supervisor... Sometimes they assume it’ll happen eventually and it takes time..

You wont be able to access the page until ds260 has been completed

We are also London embassy and our case is electronic/Pivot

So then I was traveling and on the week 10th of waiting I called NVC and they told me that you are calling too early since we just received your case on June 20th or something around that date. I said "wait a minute" - and the operator said almost immediately - "wait a minute". So he told me that my case was transferred to a new systems and they made a mistake with my receipt date. Now the case was transferred to a supervisor and I hope that I get my case number and invoice number soon. It's been 13 weeks already, 10 weeks of waste of time and 3 weeks with a supervisor. 

 

Last time I called a nice lady told me that my case in quality control, whatever it means, but I still don't have the number. 

 

Is any one else is in a similar situation?

Hello, my case is very similar.  I had been calling once a week for 8 weeks, always being told that my case was received on May 7th and to allow 8 weeks. On the 8th week, they said my case was over due an they would send to a supervisor for review.  The next week - week 9 I called and they told me my case was electronic to choose option 5.  So I called back, choose option 5 and was told they received my case on 7/6 and I needed to 8 weeks. I escalated and told them my receive date was 5/7... currently I am almost to week 11 and nothing as of yet.  I am calling twice daily and still have not seen any action.

Call NVC and explain. They will review and unlock for you. Same thing here.

Got case # over phone 11th July

This is the 7th week since I first submitted my docs. Still waiting for CC. This wait is killing me. 😭😭
