Scan date is not the day NVC received your docs,it is the day nvc scan your received docs into their system for review

Actually today is my 8th week +1 day!! Call twice a day today u suggest? How long did u get yours after the +1 day and to get welcome letter?

I got mine 8weeks+3days.

 Me and my husband were calling twice daily.

If you have completed your ds260 before mailing out the package,it takes 1-2days after nvc receives the package to get the scanned into the system for review

 Hi friends... Thanks for your replies... So happy I finally received my case number and invoice number.. So 8 weeks and 6 days.. Phew.. But it’s true that you gotta be after them till someone proactively does something. Can you guide me what should I do now? I’m from Mumbai. So non pivot case I believe. Will I receive a letter by email or mail? Do I have to continue checking with them? How many days does it take?

@jovandonovon17 @valentinasc My receive date was May 10th. I received my case number just now. Once they tell you they’ve escalated your case, I’d suggest calling them again and asking if it has been done.. Coz different operators told me thrice that they’ve done it but it actually got done the 4th time I called.. I received the case number same day then.. They’re really busy... gotta be after them.. All the best.. You’ll have the numbers anytime I’m sure..

Mumbai is non pivot

 

Fill out your ds261 then when you get your  welcome letter tomorrow or Monday via email,pay the aos fee and have an agent review the ds261 with you over the phone.

 

Whenever you feel lost in the process don't hesitate to let me know.

Thank you @Abies Oh that’s nice. By email you mean? My husband is the petitioner had filled the i130 in USA. So the letter comes on his email address? We’ve applied for me and my 13 months old son.. We’ve been away since our bub was 4 months old... It’s been so long..

Both of you will receive all NVC correspondence via email.

 

Hopefully we will all be in the US with our loved ones before thanksgiving.
