I saw them take out the money from my account but it didn't update the site to paid yet.  My lawyer got all the documents already and Affidavits too.

@Abies@Rameda@Saaniya You’ll have been extremely helpful... I’ve been following your timeline for a while... I completed 8 weeks on 5th July... and have been told thrice that they shall escalate my case.. Today when I called the second time, a very sweet and proactive representative told me that she doesn’t see anywhere that my case is escalated and took my details and email address and told me that she has made sure that it has been escalated. It’s been 8weeks 6 days... Getting restless..

Same here. 8 weeks, 6 days and NADA-

Keep calling twice daily since you have exceeded the 8weeks mark.

Hopefully before the end of next week, you will get the welcome letter.

When you hit the 8weeks mark is when nvc usually escalates the case to a supervisor, there you start calling them twice daily.

Hi all, I am looking for some feed back.  USCIS transferred my case to NVC on May 1st.  I started calling NVC 2 weeks later.  I chose option 7 and every week for last 8 weeks I have been told the same thing, "Your case was recieved on as May 7, please wait at least 8 weeks for processing.  After the waiting of 8 weeks last week they advised that my case was over due and sent to a supervisor.  I called everyday last week (week 9) and it was being escalated.  Yesterday I called and was told to choose option 5 as my case was electronic - finallt a bit of hope, so i thought.  The lady at option 5 said my case was recieved on July 6th and allow for 8 week... immediatly I got upset, naturally... i advised i had been calling and my recieve date as 5/7. She argued with me for a while and then said she would send to supervisor.  Today i called and again was told my case was recieved on 7/6..  i asked to talk to a supeevisor, which told me she would escalate.  Do I have any further course of action to take, or am i stuck waiting agaib for another 6-8 weeks? Feeling desperate and defeated....

If you are calling option 5 means you are a pivot case and pivot cases takes longer to get a case number than non pivot case but the later steps are faster. It took 2 weeks for me to get a case number after they got the case. But the call center just follows a set protocol that they follow and they tell people it takes up to such and such week they dont know cause the call center is in USA and not in your embassy country. To be honest you are sort of wasting your time calling the call center. but if you want i would say call 14 working days from the 6th if you dont get a login letter. Honestly USA immigration is probably one of the slowest in the world and for myself and my spouse we did it cause it just gives us an option to live here as an alternative plan but probably wont do it because of other opportunities we have in other places.

Good luck

I know that something similar was happening to people from countries that were transitioning from non-pivot to pivot (pivot is electronic processing) so maybe that is why your received date changed. I think it did happen to some people from the UK, from what I remember. But, there is good news for you. They have been giving case numbers out much faster for pivot cases recently--I got mine in three weeks and have heard the same from other people from pivot countries. I bet that even if you do nothing you will have the case number within a few weeks. Also, you can always try calling again and see if a different rep can tell you something different. I think in last month's NVC thread (or maybe May's) there were some other people who went through something similar, in case you want to look for those comments (but I think they just ended up having to wait). Good luck and don't lose hope!

Edit: My comments are in reference to people who are applying for the CR1/IR1 visa because that is what this thread is for. I just saw that you are applying for K3 so it might be different if you did not also file for CR1/IR1.
