Same received date as you. Our case was sent to the supervisor yesterday at 8am est. We were told not to call back until the end of next week. That will make 9.5 weeks of waiting for the numbers. Please do tell when you receive yours!

This is serious

I think non-pivot cases are going faster. You should get CC in a week or 10 days. Someone with a non-pivot case can tell you better.

What is a non-pivot case?

Hmm. My approval date is 6/21 and NVC still hasn't received - the USCIS app doesn't even say sent yet. I am seeing 1-2 weeks for most people from NOA2 to case received by NVC, but NVC says to wait up to 6 weeks when I call.

That's one way for them to not have irate customers calling to complain after 8 weeks...just don't receive new cases! Brilliant NVC:(

I know, the wait is tough, especially with 7 months of nothing just to get to NOA2, and up to 8 more weeks after they receive it just to receive the case #. It's okay, we'll all get there, slowly but surely!

11/22/17 - I-130 Mailed to Chicago Lockbox

11/24/17 - NOA1 Receipt Date

06/21/18 - NOA2 Approval Date (email, text, app update)

07/17/18 - Case received by NVC

08/09/18 - Case and Invoice number assigned by NVC, paid AOS and IV fees

08/14/18 - Submitted AOS Application and Documents

08/16/18 - Submitted IV Application and Documents

09/17/18 - Case complete at NVC

11/13/18 - Received interview letter from NVC

12/19/18 - Interview at Embassy in Cairo - Approved!

01/03/19 - GC Fee Paid

02/01/19 - POE!

Unfortunately many of us are already past the 8 weeks... and still waiting.

How long is it taking for the IV fee to open after you choose an agent?

First time I called NVC, they said to call back after 6 weeks from 5/11. At 6 weeks, they said to call back at 8 weeks. Today is 8 weeks from 5/11. They had not scanned my case in today. I asked to escalate, but they said they could not, because the have until 11:45pm to do it today. I guess it is not really 8 weeks, but 8 weeks + 1 day. Would have saved me 30 minutes of waiting -- just a heads up for anyone else who thought 8 weeks meant 8 weeks.

Presently it's taking 9-10weeks to get the welcome letter

I should have been more specific. I meant 8 weeks, waiting to get invoice and case number. NVC received my info from USCIS on 5/11, and I have not received invoice or case number. Is that the same as the welcome letter?
